The two stars are only because the gentleman was very nice, he seemed genuine and meant well & I wanted a taste of something different in this area so I gave him a try. I ordered the ONLY two dishes he had ready that day which was supposed to be chicken & sausage gumbo and a smothered pork chop plate. Let’s say BOTH plates were thrown away. When I think of gumbo I think of tomato’s, onions, peppers and okra, etc! Well, it was brown broth gravy and big chunks of chicken and sausage the smothered pork chop plate just wasn’t to my liking of taste and that’s just me. Not saying don’t try it, but just don’t have your expectations high!!

This place is a rip off. I got the gumbo, it literally had 5 measly slices of sausage, three little chunks of chicken and the rest was just broth. $13 for almost nothing. PLUS the meat was cold in the middle ! So obviously he just threw it in the microwave and couldn’t even do that right! Don’t waste your money! Zero stars!!

Wow — where do I even begin! I called the owner, Carey, to help me set up catering for my wedding. He was so helpful and chose some awesome dishes.
