I had my order delivered to the hotel across the street from the restaurant and I would say for a delivered order, the food was delicious, so I’m sure if it’s served immediately fresh at the establishment itself, it would be even better. As basic as it may seem, the chicken was juicy, and so were the mini potatoes. The sauces are mild even if they don’t look like it. The baguette was delicious especially with those sauces. I had just gotten to Austin and gave this a go on the delivery app as my first meal in the city and was not disappointed.

This place serves good French food in Fareground Austin. The chicken is pretty good, especially if you slap some of their green sauce on it. The potatoes are REALLY good as they are made with the rotisserie drippings. The star of this place is anything that has their butter – we had their ham and cheese baguette with the most delicious butter. Prices are reasonable and nice little place both indoor and outdoors to sit and enjoy. Easy in and out for grab and go option. Chicken could be juicier, but overall would come back again.

My husband was visiting Austin and text me to tell me that he was going to surprise me with the best roasted chicken that he had ever tried. Well, he was right!! He brought it all the way to Miami, we ate it for lunch and it was phenomenal! Can’t wait to visit Austin just to have some more of this! Kudos for the french baguette… brought me back to France for a moment 🙂

Austin Rotisserie is a little tough to find, but worth it. It’s located in Fareground Austin, which is the lower level of 111 Congress Ave. Go down the stairs at the corner of Congress and E. Caesar Chavez. I tried the Parisian baguette sandwich. The bread was exactly what you’d expect from a bakery in France. Crusty outside and chewy inside. Fantastic! The ham, cheese, and butter made for a tasty lunch. The owner was very friendly and we had a nice conversation about France and the Normandy region. I highly recommend Austin Rotisserie for dining. A small business worth supporting. Merci beaucoup!
