Absolutely loved this place. The fried chicken was great, but the squash casserole was even better!!! My husband had the fried chicken livers and said they were better than most he’d had in a very long time. Staff was great and overall vibes of the place was as comforting as the food. Will definitely recommend to others!

We stopped here Saturday 6/17 at around 6:00 p.m. We were eager for real, good, southern food. Auntie’s Soul Food Diner did NOT disappoint! The food was excellent. We had fried chicken, fried chicken livers, hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, collards, mac and cheese, and fried okra. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend.

We accidentally found Auntie’s and it did not disappoint. The staff is very friendly. The fried chicken is everything everyone says it is – amazing! Very flavorful and juicy. We each ordered the fried chicken – dark meat (thighs) with different sides: mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, and slaw. All were very good. The banana pudding is also worth getting – yummy!

Portion sizes seem to be shrinking. But the food is always fresh, but sides are delicious and well seasoned. The desserts are amazing. I guess it wouldn’t hurt me to watch portion size a bit. Definitely worth going back.

We visited Aunties Soul Food yesterday.! Was heading to Gainesville to eat and turned around after we seen the sign, So glad we stopped. I have to say that was the BEST fried chicken I have EVER eaten, the service was great the girls were very friendly.

Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Service was even better. Very friendly wait staff. They just opened in September of 2022 and are already planning their expansion. You will NOT be sorry for checking this place out. Love it!!!

Today was my first visit to Auntie’s Soul Food Diner. I ordered the Salmon patties, broccoli casserole, Mac and cheese and the peach cobbler. Everything was wonderful, especially the Salmon patties. Not everyone serves them and these are by far the best ones I have had at a restaurant. I’m so glad that I found this place and can’t wait to return and try something different.

I got a burger that tasted like it was from home, which was amazing, along with some really good mac and cheese. I also tried some chicken tenders that were actually tender, and they literally melt in your mouth! Also, get the tenders with white gravy it’s amazing.

Excellent fried chicken – some of the best I’ve had. Usually I enjoy the side more than the chicken – but the sides weren’t too exciting here. Mac and cheese not very cheesy. Cornbread was dry. I would try it again though. Prices very reasonable.
