Awesome atmosphere; lovely outdoor space w/ large wooden tables. Friendly service. Food was unfortunately mediocre, especially for the price. The mussels were mushy & the fried chicken was a tad dry. I’d consider coming again for perhaps a drink & maybe their burger.

I’ll start with the positives! The food here was pretty good! I had the burger, we also ordered some mussels and the cheese steak rolls. We had a larger group of 6, so we reserved online without issue. The downside to this restaurant was the lack of AC on a 90+ degree evening. They also had all of the windows shut up so there was no air. I was so hot that I only ate two bites of my burger.i felt almost sick it was so hot. My friends were using menus to fan themselves. The wait staff was not attentive so we kept trying to get refills for drinks or water without service. We did ask to wait initially for the last member of our party to arrive before ordering. But it took almost 3 hours to receive our food, eat and pay. I had to flag down the waitress just to get a bill. I would love to try this place again, but something has to be done about the lack of AC or maybe open the windows to let ventilation in. Otherwise I would wait until fall when it’s cooler.

We had the best dining experience at St. Auggies by far during my vacation.

The mussels are amazing. They actually have a mussel menu. Different flavors and combinations. Yum. If you’re in Alexandria, you must try this. Great patio. Live music. Great vibe.

Great mussel selection, good cocktails and beer list, and helpful friendly service. A wide variety of seafood options on the menu. A bit expensive (especially considering how much mussels actually cost) but hey this is Old Town. The pretzels are especially delicious! Next time we will sit outside- the beer garden is dog friendly and looks lovely!

I had a great experience here. I tried multiple dishes including the French onion soup, Nashville fried chicken, pesto mussels, chicken sliders, and the brisket brunch dish. Everything was bursting with flavor and served fresh. Their house made sangria was phenomenal also. The only complaint I have is the overall service was pretty slow. It was difficult to chase down our server and for a weekend day they didn’t seem quite that busy. I would definitely recommend this great place in Old Town. Also if you love mussels their selection if flavors is fantastic.

Food is good. The service was good. The entire crew look like they all get along very well and pick up for each other when it’s busy. It was a very rainy Saturday and the overflow into the restaurant was not prepared to handle the influx due to the storm. I will definitely go back and probably on a day when no rain is forecasted so I can eat outside.

There were so many great things about this place! DJ was our server and he was one of the most professional, friendly, on top of his game servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of sitting with. The wings are good, but just a heads up, they are breaded and fried and not your typical wings. We got it with the classic buffalo sauce and the Diablo sauce, but watch out because that Diablo sauce is HOT! For the mussels we got green curry (my favorite), classic (delicious), peach rosé (not that flavorful), and the Italian (full of flavor and a good serving of ground sausage within). For cocktails we got the “Peace Yo” and “You Da Pom”, both were bright and perfect for sitting outdoors. Speaking of, we were really glad to be sitting outside by the street because the inside and the biergarden areas were both uncomfortably loud. Come early if you want to get a place to sit without waiting a long time. Kid and dog friendly.
