Atlanta Bread is a serene coffee shop that delights with its scrumptious pastries and peaceful ambiance. The dimly lit atmosphere and comfortable seating create a tranquil haven where you can escape the noise and relax. Their pastries are a true treat, offering a delightful blend of flavors and textures. Whether you’re seeking a moment of solitude or a cozy gathering with friends, Atlanta Bread provides a serene and inviting space to enjoy your coffee and indulge in their delicious offerings.

We needed a quick lunch before our drive up to Mt Mitchell and this was the perfect spot for that, they have a fun bright atmosphere, it was clearly a favorite lunch spot for the locals as it was pretty busy. They had gluten free bread so I was able to get a sandwich which was great!

Great people work here. I enjoy my interactions with them. Food is prepared with caring. Great option if you are looking for a good quality basic coffee and some soup, salad, sandwich, or smoothie (or a pastry). 🙂

I only gave Atlanta Bread Company on Henderson Rd, Asheville NC a 4 star because there aren’t many vegan or vegetarian options. However it has several areas that are perfect for larger groups – our group met for coffee, muffins and socializing and several stayed for lunch.

Used to be better. Baguettes are often awful – no hint of crispness – tasteless and flaky, or tasteless and stale. Had worst egg sandwich – overcooked egg, TERRIBLE cheddar cheese on (my bad) a baguette. For a BAKERY, they should get the roll right. Right?

Came in for the first time to have breakfast and some coffee. Edgar, who took my order, was so sweet and helpful. Juliet came by to chat and check on me which made me feel welcomed and right at home. Food was great and atmosphere was chill and relaxing. I’ll definitely be back!

I LOVE Atlanta Bread! Delicious fresh food and really wonderful service. Hate to see them not as busy anymore — it certainly isn’t because of a lack of great food!! The bread is always fresh. Soups are fantastic and I especially love the half salad/half panini combos.

The Asheville store needs to ban people from bringing cups and insulated cups in from the outside to fill them with their drinks. I witnessed a person come in with two of their own cups and fill with tea and coke and they barely fit under the dispenser. When the cups were almost full, the spout was inside the cup and drink running over it. Not very sanitary! Also not very fair for those of us that buy a drink and use the Atlanta drink fountain cups. This is even more necessary with the amount of “homeless” there is in Asheville, and specifically around the Atlanta Bread location. It makes me question if I will continue my every week visits to this location.

The food tastes great and always makes me feel better. It’s a little bit pricey for what you get, but that issue is corporate greed creating artificial price inflation. I would give 5 stars if this location would stay open for dinner hours.
