I was visiting for work and found thos restaurant in the plaza. OH MY amazing I think I ate there all week for lunch. The portion sizes were great. The complementary lentil soup was good. The dressing isn’t strong or over powering. Chicken is great

Pretty good food here. The owner is around and seems to be pretty nice. There’s also a nice market there where you can get bulk spices for low prices. Worth a visit even if you’re only looking for spices.

The best gyros in town. The lentil soup is pretty good too. There is a small grocery store inside as well. We will come back for sure.

I really love this place. My friends and I went better as a treat for my birthday. Athena’s is never disappointing. Very flavorful food and friendly staff. The lentil soup is to die for and entrees are amazing. Please try a lebanese tea to complete your meal, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the Mediterranean restaurant to beat in Lafayette. Kebob skewers are the go to dish. Juicy and charred to perfection. Waitress was gracious, helpful and competent. She knew menu well. Had the best smile. Would have given it 5 stars but the gyro was a tad salty. Zatziki is typically made with cucumber bits and served cold. And the absolute winner is the lebanese iced tea concoction with rise water and served ice cold. Delicious. Don’t forget to top it off with a traditional Turkish coffee.

Surely the best Mediterranean/Greek/Lebanese cuisine between Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Owner is wonderfully friendly and staff is always friendly and quick as well. Everyone who’s been here loves it; deserves more love.

I was in Lafayette for work and stopped by here for one of the first nights of Ramadan. I ordered lentil soup, salad, and a combo gyro and chicken plate. The soup was delicious, as was the salad, and I really enjoyed the falafel. The hummus is really good too! Standard Lebanese fare, with plenty of earthy and grounded flavors. I really enjoyed my time here and hope I have a chance to go back.
