Food and service used to be amazing. Now the food is not as fresh (got stale rice 2 of 3 last orders), service is bad and delivery is even worse (used to arrive in 30 mins and now 90 mins). I was a long time customer who had large orders each time – I will not order from this restaurant again. Learn how to run a restaurant, please. And learn Customer Service too.HORRIBLE! 2 month update – decided to give them the benefit of the doubt – perhaps had a bad week or month. Ordered again – WOW – even worse. 90 minute delivery, again. The sushi rolls tasted bad, and the shrimp was not cooked – could not finish meal. Shrimp roll was burned.

I made a purchase through grub hub for sushi to be delivered. The delivery person called me from the end of my driveway and asked me to come get the delivery instead or him doing his job and delivering it to my door. When I opened the sushi it was HOT and had a very bad smell. It was basically not safe to eat at all. I called the restaurant and they refused to refund me and I called grub hub and they said they couldn’t refund me. Overall terrible experience and they clearly do not follow any food safety or health codes.

It does pain me to give a bad sushi review. I am a expert sushi eater. This sushi is not up to snuff. I also got a veggie platter for $7. It only had broccoli. What a waste of money! Plus the rolls were garbage. Did I mention the sushi had no flavor? It was a jello type watery consistency on the fish. I ate it. Lets see if I get sick. AVOID

The first time I came here it was good. I went two other times and it has been horrible. The quality of the sushi was bad, the rolls fell apart when picking them up, and the appearance looked awful. With good competition around, this place has lost my service.

Just had my order cancelled because they can’t seem to open on time. I’m sitting here waiting almost 2 hours for my food (because even on a good day they always take so long to deliver), just to get notification via GrubHub that my order had been cancelled. I called to inquire and had to talk to 3 different people before someone told me the reason why is because they opened late. Did their website say they open 3 hours late on Mondays? No. Will I ever order from them again? Absolutely not. Terrible customer service. Food is sub-par, if it even gets to you.

I wish I had read other reviews before ordering on GrubHub. Our usual Chinese restaurant is closed on Tuesdays so we decided to try Atami. An hour and a half after ordering I called to find out where my food was. The woman on the phone was very short with me and said “It’s on the way,” before even asking my name or address. I contacted GrubHub and was told my food was 3 minutes away. When the driver arrived he sat in his car looking at his phone and did not come to my door. I had to walk out to his car and get my food. The food wasn’t bad, but that kind of service is unacceptable.

I placed my order for delivery at 6 pm. It’s been almost 3 hours now, and we still haven’t received the food. I called at the hour and a half point, and the lady said fifteen more minutes. When I asked why it’s taking so long she just said they are busy. It seems other reviewers have had this issue. AVOID this place at all costs!
