This was my first time and it was incredible! The shrimp Pho was fantastic and a huge portion! The pork ribs were so flavorful, cooked perfectly and the veggies were so good. We all had smoothies and they were fantastic too! My husband has traveled extensively and eaten lots of Vietnamese food and he said this place was so good and very authentic! We will definitely be back!

So disappointed in this place. Neither sandwich was mad correctly. The the onl thing they got right was “no peppers on one. But, there was no peppers or cilantro on any f them do thrtd that. Unfortunately my order was take out and when I got to where I was gong it was a 20 minute drive back. I didn’t return them for a refund. ♂️ What a waste of money.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered this on my lunch break. The owner was so rude saying “you are picky about your food” I just want something edible! They said they would give me a replacement and then they purposefully made it wrong and yelled at me saying it’s only $8.00 and hung up on me!! I would patronize this establishment 3+ times a week to be treated so rudely!

We stopped by @ bites for a quick meal and were very happy with the experience! We ordered beef pho, chicken pho, fried seafood balls, garlic lemon shrimp, and fruity in da pine smoothie. The food came quickly and was delicious—we were especially pleased with the pho, as the broth was balanced and not too salty which we liked. Service was also very friendly!

I didn’t care much for the chicken in my food: It was bland. That said, the Pho broth was phenomenal! My son (and the rest of us) loved his fries, my wife really enjoyed her sourgrass pork back ribs. Either the manager or owner was there and gave us super positive vibes. I really want to go back, and I hope to inspire others to go try this restaurant. I have many other menu items I hope to try in the future!

Food was excellent. Had the beef pho and honestly I think it’s the best I’ve had. Also had the beef báhn mì. The bread was light and fluffy, meat thoroughly seasoned, and the pate added a nice bit of creaminess to counter the crispiness of the bread. The Thai tea was a little on the sweet side, but still delicious. The Asian wings were fried well, super crispy, and came out piping hot. I don’t live in the area and sad that there isn’t a location near me. I’ll definitely stop again when I pass back through SLO.

WOWOWOW! What an amazing place to get some absolutely fabulous Vietnamese food! At Bites gives you many options, all prepared with super fresh ingredients with flavors so varied and deep with fresh herbs and spices all served quickly and with great service. And, the prices were so reasonable. To top everything off, I was serenaded a Happy Birthday by the restaurant staff and presented with a s’mores brownie cake! At Bites will be on our “must go” list every time we visit San Luis Obispo again!
