My daughters and I had a quick lunch there and it was absolutely terrible! My one daughter got the lunch special and ordered a pastrami on rye. When it arrived the sandwich smelled like rotten meat! She was afraid to eat it. I took a bite and wished I hadn’t! so we split my lunch special of a BLT which wasn’t anything special and hard to finish due to the smell of the other sandwich! My other daughter ordered the Gyro salad. That was mediocre at best. The gyro meat was dry and black olives were soggy. NEVER AGAIN will we step foot in that diner!

Great service and great food. Breakfast was very delicious, I had the vegetarian omelette with home fries and toast.The staff was very friendly and courteous. This family establishment is very good. A very pleasant experience. Prices are very reasonable.

It was cold in the restaurant so we went out to the porch though we were war Ed people were “smoking out there” which did turn out to be mildly annoying, but we chose to stay. I had eggs over easy, two sausage links and French toast (I am a synthetic maple syrup snob, usually carrying real maple syrup but I didn’t realize I wanted something that required it when we set out!). The eggs were to “specs” and sausages were basically good but nothing special (as in would appeal to a wide range of tastes-no particular spice stood out). The French toast seemed Texas style, crispy on the outside with powdered sugar, and softly chewy texture on the inside (my fave is brioche and when it gets almost pudding-like inside). Overall a good breakfast but what (or who) really stood out was our waitress, Arla. She saw me crying (something I was lamenting to my husband before he went to the bathroom)and empathize with me the offered to pray for me. I said absolutely! Anyway, I told my husband as we walked back to the car I didn’t expect to get an angel for a waitress today….<3

Omgoodness! So much on the plate.The appetizer came quick for our hungry selves and the food was very good! Want to add I was impressed with the mashed potatoes..other larger restaurants are pretty much thrown away,even gravy couldn’t hide the bad taste! Not here, yummy!!!

Excellent food and service! They have indoor table and counter dining, as well as outdoor seating. If you want some Greek food, this is a great spot. The waitress was quite friendly and efficient. We were enthusiastically greeted when we came in, and the entire experience was great. They also offer daily specials as well as a nice selection of sandwiches, sides and desserts. My spinach pie dinner and dolmas were excellent and came with a nice fresh salad, rice and pita with taziki sauce. My boyfriend had the chicken gyro and fries. The dessert was excellent as well. Our beverages were regularly refilled. This will be our meal stop on our next trip to York.
