I could go on about how perfectly done the lamb shank was, or how complementary the complimentary bread was, or how innovative the baklava was, but quite frankly, what kept me coming back here was simple: this restaurant has _heart_. It cares about its food, the way the food is present, and how the customers feel when the food is served. I will always come back for more. Bring your own Mediterranean wine and liquor (Raki or Ouzo would work.)

I’ve passed by Aspendos multiple times and finally brought my family there for dinner yesterday. I was impressed with the interior and ambience of the restaurant. Service was excellent as well. We ordered quite a few plates of starters because they all sounded very interesting and we wanted to try them all. The branzino I ordered was really delicious. And finally the pistachio baklava ice cream really blew me away. It was made with phyllo dough which was really thin & crispy. It was absolutely delicious! I liked that it was not drenched with sweet honey like the usual baklava. We are already planning to go back to try their flatbreads and other starters & desserts.

I made a reservation for a large party for a Friday night and Aspendos was fantastic! My group ate family style and every dish was correct and delicious. They also eagerly celebrated a birthday, kept everyone’s glasses full, and helped with every request. Can’t recommend them enough!

While walking in Princeton we saw this new restaurant ( they did not even had a name board by then , just a poster on window ). We decided to give a try, after walking in , we doing it was their opening day . It’s a fine dining experience with nice twist to Mediterranean food . We ordered the pan fried potato’s , smoked egg plant . They gave a ballon bread as compliment. Pan fried potatoes was very unique , thin layers of potatoes stacked like a cube and pan friend with spicy sauce and yogurt as the base . Egg plant was smoky and nice touch of garlic and topped with nuts . Balloon bread was the best ( similar to Naan ) served with some sort of cheese ( not sure if mozzarella) but very nice combination with ballon bread .
