Nice little restaurant on Church Street. A bit unusual as it’s in the basement. Food was good. Service was a little slow, but overall was a good experience.

Lots of options for vegan/vegetarian. Delicious food and really kind waiter. Highly recommend 🙂

Service was informed, helpful, and competent. The food was excellent- authentic and huge portions! It is a basement and is very small- packs a good noodle punch though! . Not the greatest atmosphere and lots of clutter by the kitchen counter and table. It is a basement place so it has exposed pipes etc. I’d go back. And when we return to Burlington, we will certainly go back. Great menu. It is very indepth and complicated, that is why the knowledge of the server was really helpful to get exactly what we wanted. Warning, spicey means spicey here!

Food is nothing to write home about – Moderate, nice presentation but too pricey. The server is very accommodating and personable.

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. All the dishes were ordered were very good. We were seated promptlu and our food also came quickly. Not a lot of seating so I’d you came during a busy time it might be tough to get a seat. Restaurant is also downstairs and not handicap accessible.

This place was great! It had vegan options, the waiter and his trainee were both knowledgeable about the food and how to sub out items to make it acceptable for my dietary restrictions. I got an udon miso cargo noodles with tofu and veggies, a vegan sushi platter, and some vegetable maki. My wife got chicken fried fine that was exceptionally good. She would have preferred pork but that was not an option but the chicken was very similar to one she had at some Korean restaurant she used to know.

Arriving at this Church Street Marketplace restaurant for a late night craving for ramen, I was pleased to see it was busy, usually a good sign that the food is good. The menu has some descriptions of dishes but not all, and does not include any photos. Ramen dishes are $12.00 – $18.00 which is pretty pricey, ok for me if its great ramen. I ordered an edamame appetizer which was awful, tasted like it had been microwaved hours before serving and was barely warmed. I ordered the Japanese miso ramen with scallops which had no description. I was looking forward to a bowl of fresh ramen, with fresh noodles, a miso base, an egg, fresh greens and some protein. What I got was a bowl of ramen that tasted like the packaged cheap dried versions you can get anywhere for $2.99 or less. There were three pieces of chewy stringy mustard greens without any tender tops, no egg, a few doughy fishballs, and s few pieces of scallop. The miso base was not silky or flavorful and was heavily salted. Hardly palatable. My dining companion had a “build your own ramen” option and said it was barely ok. It was a warm summer evening and there were no iced tea options on the menu. I was craving mugicha, a popular summer Japanese barley tea or any iced tea alternatives. There were none. Our waitress was friendly but never checked back to ask if our food was ok. I truly believe that it was busy because its one of the few venues open after 9:30 pm, not because of the food. I can understand the cost because of the high rent of being on Church street, but the food should and could be much, much better.

I won’t leave a poor review from a single visit but after three now my partner and I have had disappointing experiences each time. The most recent visit an entree was forgotten after a long wait and told two of us left after 2+ hours, out $100, and still hungry. The operation seems slow and distracted by a heavy flow of outgoing door dash. Would not dine in.

Vegetarian sushi here is awesome and creative. Miso soup and green tea cheesecake are also tasty. I’ve only ordered takeout but I’ve never had an issue and staff is polite.
