Having just moved to the area, I was in search of a solid Chinese take-out spot and I have definitely found it here! I don’t know about you but sometimes I just really crave stir-fried Szechuan-style green beans and they will make a whole plate for you here! My boyfriend and I like to try out the “basics” at new places before exploring the rest of the menu, and they have definitely got those down here. He always goes for the General Tso’s Chicken first whereas I opt for the Kung Pao Chicken. Both were extremely delicious and I love how many fresh vegetables were mixed into my Kung Pao! Well I guess sometimes we do explore small dishes off the bat because I had read about their Steak and Cheese Eggroll and had to try it! I’ve had those style eggrolls before at other Chinese restaurants but THIS ONE was AMAZING! Highly recommend getting one for each person you’re dining with. I will definitely be ordering from here again and again, as many times as I crave Chinese food while I live here 🙂 Sadly I’m taking one star off because they didn’t have the Moo Shu Vegetables I really wanted to order after hearing all about their fresh veg. I’ll keep trying though and if it’s great I’ll update!

Very rude. Rather than greeting me when I arrived, she said “yes” as if I was bothering her. They didn’t have cheesesteaks so I tried to order lemonade, but there’s a credit card minimum. Booooo tomatoes tomatoes

Found this place on Grubhub. EVERY TIME I order from here the food is just delicious. Every. Time. I always get Sheimp egg foo yung and Kung Pao Shrimp. I never need condiments. Its absolutely delicious and fresh as is. This is my new go-to Chinese spot.

I’ve been in the DMV area for 14 years and have been searching for a good take-out place for that same amount of time! Asian Star seems to be here to fill that spot. Safe, reliable and yummy food when cooking isn’t in the cards. Their vegetable lo mein with a little chili crisp oil on top is so good. Def recommend.

Clean environment, food is pretty good. Could use a little work on their customer service. The lady wouldn’t let a young girl have her food because she was 6 cent short, I gave her the 6 cents but that was a bit harsh

i just paid $10 for the ABSOLUTE WORST pad Thai ever. No flavor, barely any vegetables, no bean sprouts, and not even made with rice noodles. I took one bite and had to throw it away. I did not pay to eat spaghetti. To top it all, the lady in the front was rude when I asked for chilli oil. NEVER GOING BACK!!! Don’t be me. Drive a little further to a better place and buy ACTUAL pad Thai that doesn’t look or taste like it’s made by a 5 years old kid

Not good chinese food. Fried rice taste like coal, steak tastes like pure fat.

Desperate times require desperate measures! This place has been my only hope when I run out of time to cook my dinner. This place have vegetarian options and it saved me countless times and still counting. Food is amazing here!

I’ve been eating here for over a year. Their food is pretty good. General Tso Chicken; Lo Mein; Hunan dishes are good. But I tried the Chicken Pad Thai, it was NOT good. Made with Spaghetti noodles, No flavor & No Bean sprouts. If you aren’t going to make it right, then take it off the menu. I just threw away $9. I normally would give them 4 stars.

Great place for Chinese. The fried rice and the shrimp egg rolls are a staple to have.
