About the worst Chinese food we have had in years. Crab Rangoon was soggy (and greasy). Egg rolls were soggy and greasy. S&s chicken was gristly. Chicken & broccoli had an unpleasant flavor. The fried dumplings were deep-fried (which is gross), but not cooked enough, and the dumpling sauce was just plain sou sauce. House fried rice had the same unpleasant taste. For some reason our meals came with fried rice instead of white rice. It tasted bad as well.

My wife and I have gotten food from here 1-3 times per month over the past year. There’s been a steady decline in the quality of food over the past year. Last night was the final straw for us and we will not be ordering here again. This used to be our favorite Chinese takeout and now it’s very far at the bottom of the list. We got simple orders last night of General Tso’s, Garlic Chicken, and Crab Rangoon. The sauces tasted like they were running out so the added a bunch of water to extend the life of the sauce. The crab Rangoon were slightly burnt and the insides were cold still. Very unfortunate that this restaurant has declined this badly.

We pick up dinner for the family once a month. Best weekly specials. Customer service always great never in three years have we had a bad experience. Even went above and beyond to fix an error on an order.

Impressed with this place. Didn’t even order ahead, and had my food ready in under 10 minutes (they are always seem busy, so I was surprised at how fast things were ready). I was also pleaseantly surprised by the amount of food you got with one order. Got fried rice with sesame chicken for one dish and fried rice with honey crisp chicken on the other (with egg rolls too). Very tasty, and I would definitely recommend the honey crisp chicken.

Never would I thought this would ever happen but, it has!! Pork fried rice was terrible!! WAY too mushy, tasted old, horrible pork fried rice. It is a shame, to travel all the way to get excellent pork fried rice & it was terrible. And I bought 2 of them, total waste of money. Now the hunt begins, again, for decent pork fried rice, so sad!!!

Very friendly service but none of the food has much flavor. Unless you count the rubbing alcohol-like aftertaste of my egg roll. Crab rangoons taste way bitter, fried rice bland. Prices are a little high as well. I’d recommend to go a little deeper into Gastonia, you’ll find better.

The only place that takes “make it spicy” seriously. I love that they close on the weekends for their employees’ wellbeing.

Surprisingly delicious!! Never judge the book by the cover, they say…well the same applies here! Today I did not want to make dinner and I had saved Asian Garden in my “want to go” list! I am glad I did. I drove to the place and I recognized the area because I have been to the Food Lion nearby but when I found the place I was not sure if I got it right. You go to a window, you order, pay, take and go. So fast. Let’s break down and justify my 5 stars: customer service: the person at the window was friendly and attentive, I like that, always. Food: I ordered the Spicy Cabbage Chicken with fried rice and O-M-G. You would not expect something soooo good judging by the place. I could taste every single spice, the veggies were crunchy and cooked to perfection, the chicken blended with the veggies and the delicious sauce was just on point. The fried rice was good even though it was not my usual fried rice with pork and scrambled eggs and some tiny shrimps but I liked anyways. I also liked the serving portions . They served the food separate and I like that too. The only thing I missed for my dog: her fortune cookie! But I am coming back for sure! I recommend this place. PS- lots of pick up orders but they move fast!

They have vegan options! The variety of vegetables was wonderful, having a whole grain option is fantastic, and thank you for offering tofu and even prepared in various ways!

We just moved to the area, so we are trying to eat at different places and decided to try this joint – I mean, 4.5 stars, right? We’ve never had more oily Chinese food. We had the sweet and sour chicken for me, shrimp lo mein for my wife, and an order of crab rangoon. We always finish our Chinese food. We didn’t this time. More than one hair in the food. Several pieces of chicken had a large chunk of cartilage. The sauce for the chicken had a strange “tang” to it. Also didn’t care for brown rice, which isn’t appetizing on its own but especially not appetizing with the sweet and sour chicken. Crab rangoon were good except for the oil. We could pour it out of each piece if we tore it apart. And the same with the lo mein. Had a decent flavor, but lots of oil. And seemed a bit too salty.
