I ordered the yakisoba and the bbq pork combo. The yakisoba was lacking a bit of flavor and spice (I’m used to a darker color noodle which probably comes from the sauce) but the texture was fine. The bbq pork was also just fine. To be fair I came during the ID food walk so they could have been serving a lot more people at a pace they were not accustomed to.

I had breakfast here. Rice with vegetables and sliced roast pork. It just tasted not bad. For me, the spiciness was a bit much. The price, though, was very reasonable. Good place to visit for a cheap Chinese meal.

We ordered here through “too good to go” and were very satisfied with the food we got. Absolutely delicious and they gave us large portions. I highly recommend this place simply because the food is delicious, especially if you like authentic Asian food.

My heart is telling no, but my tummy, my tummy is telling me yea!!! Super friendly staff, clean establishment, and meats cooked just right. Our party of 10 pretty much ordered everything on the menu, and everyone was happy. My favorite was the roasted pork, crispy and moist. Prices are very fair yet portions are big. Well be back often.

You’re going to love this. The amazingly nice Ken Wong has been running this place for over 15 years now after taking it over from one of his cousins who operated it for 35 years! When Ken took over, he redid the floors, painted the entire place and added nice tables and chairs and cleaned up and revamped the counter and menu display. It’s a really nice hangout. Now, prices have gone up since this was first posted. Dang COVID did that to everyone. But for under $15 bucks you get a generous combination plate of your favorite roasted pork, duck, chicken, and good ole BBQ pork, with either rice, noodles, or veggies. One of the cool things that Ken added was a small but efficient hot line that he stocks with his own home-made recipes of your favorite animal, fried rice, and steamed vegetables. It’s never the same each day so it’s worth exploring. He doesn’t cook up a lot, but it’s always fresh and absolutely delicious. He opens the shop at 10AM. Get there before 1PM because it’s usually all sells out by then. The photo on the far left is the sweet and sour chicken legs with deep fried salmon, and his own delicious fried rice. The dish on the far right is a soy sauce chicken quarter in mixed broccoli with zucchini and sliced carrots. Super yummy. So. If you don’t mind traveling into the International District, otherwise lovingly referred to as China Town, go visit this long standing and faithful establishment and please introduce yourself to Ken Wong. He always wants to know if you have got enough to eat and will stack your plate if that makes you happy. Oh, as far as parking goes, that’ a bit hard to find there. Try the link or Metro Transit. Google the route.

This place is a gem, should have a 5 star. Huge portions, affordable and absolute fire. Y’all bringing the ratings down are some haters. 10$ ish for roast pork roast duck and fried rice? Please. Crispy skin? Yes sir. Perfect fat to meat ratio? Yes. Chopped on a cross section of a tree stump. Love it love it love it.

I love supporting small businesses especially in a city with so much gentrification. But this was bad! The interior is very dirty, a very obvious lack of pride of ownership. The food was both cold and flavorless. The meat was very low quality. Nothing stood out to me here. I’d love to see improvement so this business stays around.

Unfortunately, this place shadows the other barbecue spots that reside closer to the main streets of Chinatown such as Kau Kau simply because of location. Because of that, I feel there’s a need to consider the traffic flow which will definitely affect freshness among other factors.
