Very cute authentic restaurant. The music/atmosphere is excellent. The food was delicious, the ceviche was amazing. I also had the shrimp tacos, very flavorful and different compared to other shrimp tacos. Recommended if you want authentic Mexican food! Made me feel I was in Mexico.

Fantastic local spot with awesome food. The service was lovely and the owners’ story is great. I’m glad they decided to create something where they live. The cerviche was wonderful. The guac with the black garlic paste was so flavorful. The tacos were awesome. Can’t wait to go back with a bottle of tequila or mezcal.

A beautiful and TRULY authentic Mexican restaurant that Hudson county so desperately needed. Family run, warm and welcoming service. It was so thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. The food is to die for, such unique and rich flavors. They are BYOB but also make the base of traditional Mexican drinks for you if you want to add in your own liquor, such a win. We’ve been here many times and will continue to be loyal customers.

There are few places that I would consider authentic Mexican cuisine in NYC or its surrounding areas. This place has exceeded all my expectations. You’re greeted with an eclectic yet artistic environment filled with classic and modern Mexican music. The furniture resembles pop culture, but the star of the show is the cuisine. From the grilled jumbo shrimp to the tacos and guacamole. Lastly, but definitely not least, is the couple who run the restaurant, both as the bartender and hostess who will make you feel welcomed. This is a hidden gem on the border of Union City and Weehawken. Take a look, and your experience will be just as enjoyable as mine.

We eat here at least once a month, and sometimes once a week. The best restaurant in the neighbourhood, family run by the most passionate and skilled couple. Going here is like visiting their home. The service is loving and welcoming and the food is better than any Mexican food I have ever eaten. The ceviche is our favourite, the prawn appetizer is a must try, and their tacos are all delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who likes seafood and food in general 🙂 and their guacamole and chips is a must have too.

Chef Colin is not only an exceptional cook, he is very hospitable, making a point to speak to his guests and make you feel like part of the family. And let’s not forget to mention the decor. All the food was great starting with the freshest guacamole I’ve had in a looooong time. The mango and pineapple guacamole will not disappoint especially the presentation. The blend of flavors were great. The chicken alpastor tacos were delicious especially with the sauce on top. My boyfriend had the steak tacos with a layer of chihuahua cheese that he said made the tacos stand out. The desserts were also great the chocolate cake was A1 and so was the flan strawberries were a great pairing. Also a BYOB with great ambiance. The owner was very nice she took to the time to explain menu items and chat with us about where she is from. Overall great experience will be dining there again soon. Great local eats
