I’ve been dying to try this place off the reviews alone. Never had Birria tacos, and they did not miss!!! Different varieties of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and even tamales. Went in to place a to go order, was ready in about 10 minutes…..and tasted like it was slow home cooked meal made especially for me. I honestly felt like it wasn’t going to be a lot of food but I had enough to save for later and was satisfied both times! The refried beans are almost chili based which added to the flavor and the rice was fresh and hot. I recommend everyone try this experience. Very tasty!

I would say I paid around 35 dollars for my order which was delivered to my place of work down the road. The quality of food is very good, and it is very delicious! I can only give it 2 starts because they horrendously messed my order up. I ordered 4 shrimp quesadillas, but I got two tacos and two quesadillas. I also specified double rice and no beans, but I still got beans and only one rice. I also paid for a 4 oz sour cream, but they gave me a 4 oz salsa? Disappointed with how messed up it was

Took a chance based on reviews. Best tacos I have ever had. They did not scrimp on the ingredients. I’m in Madison every 3 weeks or so and now know where to go for great Mexican. I believe gabby is the cook; congrats on doing a great job.

I feel bad for giving only 3 stars but I did not have the best meal. It was my first time trying this location and I didn’t feel it was worth $34 for the quesadilla and burrito. The quesadilla was huge but it was mainly filled with rice. Only a little bit of birria was in the burrito and really not that much in my quesadilla. Had there been more meat, the price could have been worth it. She did mention there was a new chef, so maybe that was it? The counter server was very nice and with a tip it was $39. I probably won’t rush off to Arod’s anytime soon. I’m glad others have enjoyed it and I will always support local!

We just had a phenomenal lunch here! We got the sampler platter with the spicy pork quesadilla, the Birria tacos, and ground beef enchiladas. All three were absolutely delicious! We came for the birria, as I suspect most people do, but make sure to try some other stuff too! It was all delicious! Very friendly owners too!

I have been loudly and obscenely devouring spicy pork quesadillas with a side of birria every week for over a month, and I’m beginning to understand that twice a week is inevitable. I love all the Madison food but I could eat this every day until I die. And it’s relatively cheap??! We’re not worthy

If you’re not getting the brisket tacos, you’re doing it all wrong. Go back and try again. And then again. And… again. Seriously amazing food, all of it. Even the rice and beans are delish. Oh, if the tortillas are too greasy, ask for the tacos “without oil”. My mouth salivates simply from writing this review.
