I can’t speak highly enough of my experience at Area 51! First off, the service was ON POINT! Literally waited 90 seconds to seat a table of 7. Drinks (including alcohol) came almost immediately after ordering. The food?? So. Delicious. With the 7 of us there, not one person said a single negative thing about the food. Instead, we kept talking about how amazing it was. We all shared and tried each others’ meals, and I can honestly say that was the best, most authentic Korean BBQ ever. Oh, and do yourself a favor, and try the ube (purple yam) mochi. It’s like heaven! 10/10 recommend!!

Food was great, super fresh and served hot! I was just disappointed at the lack of spice and seasonings… Korean food, (especially kimchi) should be super flavorful and packed with a punch of heat. We even asked for extra chili sauce/paste/oil and what we were given was more sweet than spicy. Still very delicious, just not what I expected! They are also understaffed, and it showed.

We enjoyed our dinner here. Their dumplings the best I had lately. We always eat in Korean restaurants in different states and I would say they are authentic Korean. Yes, the prices are steep but they are in decent portions so I’d not complain.

Staff was super friendly and the food was good. My wife and I never have had Korean food before but were very glad we gave it a try. We tried to get a little of everything so we could taste as much as possible and it didn’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend.

Some of the most flavorful food on the entire island! Authentic, super flavorful, & a wide variety of delicious dishes.. it’s some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had. Their customer service is stellar! They have a giant menu & every item is exceptional & explodes with flavor. We’re big food snobs & have tried nearly every restaurant on Amelia Island & they’re by far one of our favorites (along with Pogo’s & Espana). Highly recommend: LA style dak-galbi (sweet tangy fall of the bone beef flanks), chicken dak-galbi, dumpling soup (best dumplings ever!), spicy pork wraps. Definitely add the banchan!! (bok choy kimchi, japchai noodles, & the one with the meat patty are my favs) OH ALSO THE MOCHI IS GREAT!! (we took ours home cause we were so stuffed lol) black sesame, jasmine, earl grey, espresso, ube & raspberry were all sooo good. Really great prices on everything, too!! Love this place, definitely pay them a visit soon

Excellent fresh cooked food with a good sampling of traditional Korean and more western Korean influenced dishes. Service was great and prices were very reasonable for the serving and quality. Great intro to Korean cuisine, which has bold and complex flavors that are still very new to the American pallet. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!

This place is DELICIOUS! If you want authentic Korean, go here! We also went to twisted bao the day before and we wish we went here instead! The meat was prepared perfectly and the kimchi was nice and spicy! It’s definitely laid back and we got our food within 15 minutes! If you haven’t had Korean before, the waitress is super nice and patient so she will explain everything to you! Would come again if we were closer! Also the chocolate mousse is amazing!

Oh my, the BBQ is amazing. Had the St. Louis ribs and meat was so good. Also we had to order and try the dumplings and BBQ egg rolls. I am going to miss them when I head home after this weekend. Smaller place and needs more parking but find a place to park I don’t think you will regret it at all.
