We’re Area 44, and we’ve been a premier pizza restaurant in Oshkosh, WI, since 2023. We are a family and locally-owned restaurant specializing in pizza. We offer pizzas, calzones, subs, strombolis, and desserts. Come in and enjoy our pizza buffet, and soup and salad bar. Really nice to have a restaurant on this side of town. We came in to get a pizza by the slice and a drink. I know you’re very new into reopening but it would be helpful to direct customers where to stand for what; slices or making a custom pizza etc. The customers grab their own slices, out of a warming tower, and the pizza slice boxes are labeled. It was reasonably priced for a slice and a drink. Soup and salad looked stocked and fresh. Seating area is small, but still giving space to each table to be a comfortable distance away from other tables. Serve yourself fountain drinks. Bathroom was a single stall and very clean. We didn’t try the drive-thru but love that it’s an option! The food was good too, we’ll be back!

Cool pizza joint with a good size menu, friendly staff and super unique decor. Love the idea. Very clean and organized. Enjoy ordering pizza “to-go” as well as eat at the restaurant. Great place to bring your kids if you want to avoid huge lines. Nice outdoor seating area.

Tried this place as part of a group order for work and it was doordashed in. I’d definitely try it again but try something different. I ordered The Smithsonian pizza, which is a gyro pizza. I was really looking forward to the gyro sauce drizzled on top, but that was forgotten. The pizza itself was just okay. Not much flavor. I do like the crust though.

This is a great place to go for lunch. They have a good variety of different types of pizzas. I really like their crust, both the perfectly crispy crust and it’s flavor. They do offer a lunch buffet but I normally order my own pizza so I can pick exactly what I want. The only area for improvement would be I feel like the smallest size pizza it a little bit too big. There’s always 1-2 slices left when I feel like I’m full so I’m not sure if I should just eat them even though I’m full or if I want to bother with getting a box for 1 or 2 pieces. I think a slightly smaller size pizza would be a great option. The most recent time I was in they had rice crispy treats and they were very tasty. I would recommend this place to any pizza lover.

Very nice facility. Went in with really high hopes for dinner. Inside was clean and tidy. We paid for the all you can eat pizza buffet. There were no pizzas out. We paid $15 a person, for us to be served one pizza that is smaller than a jacks pizza from the grocery store. We also had the soup and salad bar that came with our pizza buffet purchase. The soup warmers must not have even been on because between my husband and I we got the two different options provided and they both were cold. The salad bar looked very good, and was for the most part except for the large black hair in the crumbled feta cheese. All in all semi disappointed and still hungry after we paid about $34 for two all you can eat pizza buffets, with no pizza on a buffet and being served a small one brought to our table. Would love to eat here again but not until we see more cars in the parking lot.

It’s a fun atmosphere with great food and selection! There is no other place in Oshkosh like it. They make your food fresh in front of you, and everything I have had so far has been delicious. Pizzas are great, and the soup and salad bar is a great lunch option. They are always switching up the menu with new items. Can’t wait to go back!

The girl working seemed like she didn’t want to be there or be too helpful to the young man there working, who seemingly maybe just started not too long ago. As he could not answer our questions about food/menu items. And he didnt know what ingredients made up what we ordered. Checked out the salad bar before ordering…pretty sub par, maybe even below sub par for what they’re charging for it! My Stromboli came out great (which the girl made), fresh/good meat and veggie ingredients. The cheese was melted perfectly. Hot and came out great. My husband’s calzone (made by the young man), was completely missing any red sauce inside of the calzone and even after being put through the oven directly after mine, the outer crust was cooked..however, all the cheese inside was still shredded and hadn’t even melted. Ingredients inside were barely warm. Area 44 could use some work

Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, made to order pizza’s & calzones, salad bar. Calzones were unexpectedly greasy but pizza’s did not appear that way. Clean and well maintained.
