What a terrible experience. My family and I went to Sunday brunch. The website and Google say they are open at noon. It was raining outside, and people were turned away and told they open at 12:30. Several of us were standing outside in the rain waiting. The host comes out with a visible firearm on her waist and tells us they won’t open until 12:45 or so. I asked if we could wait in the lobby just to get out of the rain, and she said no. There were also kids waiting in the rain. At 12:50, the security guard let’s us come in the lobby, but they still were not open. At 1 p.m., we were seated. The food was cold and no one at my party was satisfied. The bottomless mimosas are mainly juicy, and they were warm. This is a place for young adults or college students. The floors were slippery and dirty, and the bathrooms were even worse. I really hope this place shuts down. I can understand why the owner is unavailable to email because her box would be full.

Terrible experience . Website and Google says they open at noon on Sunday. It’s first come first serve for brunch. There was a crowd by the door and they said they actually open at 12:30. It was raining outside so we were waiting at the door. There were about 15 ppl. The host came out with a firearm visible on her side and said they weren’t going to open until 12:45 or so. It started pouring. I asked if we all could at least wait in the lobby to get from out the rain and she turned us down. At 12:50 they still were not open but the security guard then said we could wait in the lobby. The $20 mimosas were not good. Mainly juice. The food was cold and disgusting. This is a club for young adults. It’s not a well run establishment at all. It’s best for college kids. The floor was extremely slippery and dirty and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and we got there when they opened. I’ll be notifying BBB and other restaurant inspections for this place. I really hope it shuts down. This is not black excellence at all.

The place is beautiful unfortunately it is managed poorly. We were there 2 hours and still never got our order. We left after coming there to celebrate an auspicious occasion. I must say the energy was great and the MC kept the audience interactive. My family danced and it was fun. But we were starving for no one had eaten for our 2 o’clock reservation. The children asked constantly for the food and we were told over and over we were next. Again after 2 hours we left to feed the children. No one gets 5 stars. .. But when I tell you the salmon and yellow rice surprised me,!!!!! Good af. I had to ask our good waitress “Barbie” to meet the chef “Bean”….. Rice well cooked… Fluffy. not sticking together like most places. You can tell she prepared this from the heart. Will definitely be coming back…. This is by far one of my hardest reviews I have to do…. Details to follow…… I’ll first say the vibe here is . Just good black fun.. Karaoke Wed was lit.. The drinks were boy.. Just know I had to walk out just so I didn’t finish them.. Strong and good… Our server was GHETTO FABOLOUS LOL.. TO SAY THE LEAST AMAZING.. ( HAD BRAIDS AND BRACES) , WE LOVED HER. PARKING HAD SECURITY ACROSS THE STREET.. I wish I had cash to give him because I appreciate stuff like that especially because we know how break ins to cars are…..

I’ve come here a few times and each time my experience is about the same. The facility is beautiful, the dj provides great vibes and makes it an experience, and the food is amazing. The area that needs improvement is the service. Each time we’re seated quickly, but don’t see a server for at least 45 minutes and we hit the 1:30-2hr mark before we’ve received our drinks and food. Sometimes the servers are rude or will just not come back to the table so often my party will find the bartender or another server to help service us. I think it’s a great place but the service has to improve.

I flew in town to see moms for Mother’s Day. We decided to go here. I thought I was running late but the staff wasn’t even there yet. We had a 12:00 reservation but they wouldn’t open the doors because no one was there to set-up. Once we all got in they gave us a terrible waiter. We had to wait to place our orders, wait to place our drink orders. Our waiter was over it! He was doing every position in the place. He was on the DJ booth when he was suppose to be waiting on us. He threw our drinks on the table!!!! Half of my group food was cold and uncooked the other half was ok. This place definitely needs more staff and new management. The place is big and beautiful but there’s so much potential with this establishment.

Went for a friend’s birthday party. Had to wait almost an hour for them to open. Because the kitchen staff wasn’t there yet. Ordered a round of drinks they came in glasses. The second round came in plastic cups. When asked I was told they ran out. Food came out late and cold. Cute spot but definitely needs new management
