I’ve been here a couple of times and I don’t understand the glowing reviews over service. I went today and it took 45 minutes to get my burger, despite the fact that there was one other person in the restaurant and no one was coming in for takeout. The front of house guy was super hostile and was shouting and swearing at the lone cook. I could see through the curtain that he was throwing things at the cook, although I didn’t get that on video. He came out of the kitchen and shouted profanities back at the cook while standing next to me (see videos!). He seems unstable. I wasn’t impressed with the food once I had it—the burger was cooked as requested, but it was unseasoned and had a hair embedded in it. The cook was very polite to me unlike FOH and I don’t put any blame on him (although I do think hairnets would be an upgrade) because, according to their conversation, FOH was telling him the wrong dishes to cook. Obviously FOH needs a major attitude adjustment and the restaurant needs a better order system than a jerk yelling at the cooks.

Food is great. Great variety of wine. But the service is unparalleled. Leo and staff provide a fine dining experience in a very comfortable setting.

We went to celebrate my friends birthday. It’s very cozy and nice there, I love the entire design is very unique. It feels like you are seating at the living room. Food is a mix of French and American cusine, mussels were so good and delicious. What impressed me the most is how they serve the food, plating is so unique and cute. That burning smell of rosemary is stucked in my head. Great selection of wines, afordable. Will recommend to try out this place.

Aquitaine is one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco, and I’ve never been disappointed. The staff is so friendly and inviting, the food is incredible and the atmosphere is cozy. The steak frites and Mac and duck are two of my favorites.

Great food, great atmosphere, wonderful service. Have gone a few times for happy hour and have such a blast. Don’t miss out on the happy hour deviled eggs, crab stuffed mushroom, polenta fries and regular fries, served in a cute wooden shoe! Great place for groups or to go alone and read a book with a nice glass of wine.

Stopped in for a glass of wine whilst out for a stroll. On the expensive side but nice. Few local wines by the glass. Not the place for your local wine tasting on the other hand just the place for your French wine tasting
