We celebrated my birthday here and the staff was very attentive and made us feel special. The restaurant has amazing river views so you can find a table just overlooking the river. The menu is great, we got the shrimp and grits and short rib. Everything tasted excellent! The cheesecake as part of the birthday celebration was cherry on the top. It was delicious and very rich.

April 1 – Saturday we attended the USA Men’s Region 8 Gymnastics Championships at the Savannah Convention Center in Savannah. The event was ending late in the evening and the only accessible restaurant on this Savannah side of the river was located at the Westin next door. Ordered the beet salad (half) $14 and Maple Glazed Tofu Salad ($17)…total $36.17.

Tried the burger, halibut, and shrimp & grits. All were great. Everything is fresh. Staff is nice and professional. Tried all the deserts accept the ice cream; perfect. Service was a tad slow, but it seemed they valued the caliber of staff to the number of staff. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area.

Delicious food! He had dinner and it was a very good experience, everyone in the table was very happy with their diners. I ordered the NY Steak and was very tasty cooked to perfection! We also had breakfast, it was very good! Staff and servers very attentive and filling to help all the time! Highly recommend this place!

We came in for breakfast since we were staying in the hotel. The weekend breakfast hours was supposed to end at 11am. We arrived at 10:55am and was told they will be closing in a few minutes and didn’t want to seat us. I insisted and they finally gave us a table and took our order. Once we are seated, we received pretty good service. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was typical American brunch menu and they are delicious. I especially like the Smokey Benedict. The dining room also has a very nice view of the river and Savannah waterfront. You can easily get to the hotel using the free ferry system.

Had their gumbo one night and it was OK. But, everyone recommended their shrimp and grits.. So, here is a post to help you decide for yourself. As for me, I was not expecting it to have so much sauce. My Mom always said when things come with an unexpected amount of sauce – what are they hiding. But. the staff was friendly…so this rating is not regarding service.
