This is the second time I’ve been to this Applebee’s during the weekday only two other people sitting at the bar so first let’s talk about I order sweet tea and I place my order I get my order pretty promptly and then I have no sweet tea I have to flag her down to get another sweet tea then she takes care of another customer first so as I’m sitting there parched I finished my dinner and she gives me my ticket and disappears for 10 minutes I have my daughter that I have to pick up at a certain time so I’m giving it a one star cuz the service there is horrible the food was okay and it’s not even a busy place nobody’s sweet tea or water should ever get emptied and then you have to wait 5 more minutes to get something else to drink needless to say even though the food was okay I will not be back you really need to work on your customer service this was a Thursday at approximately 5:00 what few people were in there and the hostesses every single person in there should be taking care of promptly a couple of guys sitting on the other side of the bar we’re waiting to order when they saw me getting frustrated they just shook their heads they were frustrated as well so I normally start out at 30% tip she ended up with a 10% tip because the service really even wasn’t worth that if you can avoid this place I would

The service has gotten much better, and the food was good. It was slow, but they were nice and explained they were short staffed so totally understandable. It just drives me nuts that they won’t clean the front door and windows. Surely they have some Windex and paper towels. It is so gross, and it’s that way every time we go there.

There were four tables worth of customers, food took almost 45 minutes to come out. Had to go to the bar to ask for a second drink and that took 15 minutes, with no one sitting at the bar. Would have been better off going to McDonald’s!

I didn’t get to eat the food. We walked in for lunch on a Monday, and they said it would be a wait. Ok no problem we sat. Someone else can in after, they put her at a table but not us… we still wait… more people came in and left… they never spoke to us again just let us sitting in the waiting area watching us. It was all so random and weird, yes there was a storm the day before but if they where that short staffed they should have just closed! Will never go back to this place again!!! Never.

Walked in at 9:15, never got greeted or acknowledged, watched 3 tables get served as staff avoided eye contact w us and pretended we weren’t there. Left after 20 minutes of being ignored and not even offered a water. Absolutely awful night staff.

Rude , ordered French onion soup only got cheese and bread with one spoon of soup. Asked to see the manager told of the problem she refused to refund the soup on my menu. With her attitude the waitress didn’t receive a tip to off set my inconvenience of the rude treatment, waitress was a jerk also. I recommend going elsewhere when in the Covington Tennessee area
