I am delighted to express my utmost satisfaction with the exceptional service and hospitality extended to me during my recent visit to Applebee’s. I had ordered wings and despite receiving the wrong flavor, the Manager, Michelle, and Gabby, who was our wonderful waitress, promptly approached our table and graciously offered to provide us with a complimentary order of buffalo wings.

I came here from CT after visiting NY, I wanted to order a drink and the waitress was not familiar with CT ids. No problem, but the manager came over and asked us to verify information on the ids. One of us at the table had changed addresses 1 week ago and had the id updated, so when stating the address had messed up the number. She tried to correct herself and the manager said “yeah you can have this back” and placed the id of a 24 year old down on the table. Did not serve us drinks despite having ids from a state over. We felt uncomfortable from the whole experience and opted to drive 25 minutes to an Applebees in our own state.

Honestly if I could give it 0 stars I would. Visited Carmel NY from CT a state over and immediately when I walked in the vibes just weren’t it. Then when I sat down and ordered a drink. The waitress asked for IDs which is okay but she took our IDs to the back for 10-15 min which I understand, but it’s CT license, a state over. Then the manager comes back and asks us to verify the address and I just changed my address on my license not even a week ago and I had said the wrong number. When trying to correct it and explaining I had just moved the manager dropped my id down and said, yeah you can have that back, and moved onto questioning my friend who had stated her information correct and was still refused service for an alcoholic beverage. Honestly after a long day that’s why we came to Applebees, so we drove 25 minutes to Connecticut, went to the closest Applebees and were served with no issues whatsoever. Danbury Applebees is much better! Will never be back to any NY locations.

I had a wonderful experience Friday night all thanks to our waitress Brianna B. She was very welcoming and friendly, you can tell she enjoyed making sure people were happy which was a breath of fresh air. It’s been awhile since I’ve visited Applebees so I wasn’t too familiar with the menu but she was quick to recommend some great options to my family and I. We will most definitely be back at this location due to the lovely staff and good food.
