Went for dinner. I ordered a soup and a burger with fries. Soup came out an as you can see from the pictures the bowel was half full and gave me 8 or 9 spoon fulls to eat. It was warm and over peppered. When i got down to the bottom of the bowel you could see all the black pepper that remained. The burger and fries over priced for 13 dollars, though was something to eat it was far from juicy and great. It was more of a fast food burger thrown together. Iv had hotter and juicier burgers at McDonalds and Burger king for half the price.

Thank goodness this place was open. I’ve learned that most places in Maine close at 6pm and you have limited food options. Great service and fantastic food and drinks at this location.

Got a drink with my “to go” order and an aluminum tab was floating in it. Tried to call to report it and couldn’t get through. Initially they picked up and hung up without speaking and then never answered the phone on subsequent attempts.

I get better service going threw a drive threw ..Waiter did not wanna be there u could tell did not check on us once after delivering the food as I sat it end of the table .French onion cold was half full.cheese was thrown in there .I had two orders of French onion and it was a joke .The won ton tacos ..tasted stale …idk why I went back I had problems in past .I live in knox county and Thomas Applebees has nailed it for sometime …I understand the cook is really to blame..but the waiter should look at that turn around and say something..

Overall this Applebee’s was a great experience! Our server Kris was a pleasure! Not only did she keep a friendly smile on her face the whole time, she was attentive and honestly the sweetest person!! 10/10 great personality and care towards her customers!!

We used to go to this Applebee’s a lot and never had a bad experience. Tonight…not so much. The host told several parties it would be a 40 minute wait. Some left, and we stayed. He then let us stand there for a minute and didn’t take our name or ask us if we wanted to be added to the waitlist. When the rest of our party arrived, I went back in to be put on the waitlist. The host told me again about the 40-minute wait to which I replied that I heard him the first time. He seemed unhappy that we stayed and put out we wanted to be added to the waitlist. Once we were seated, things were better. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. The food seemed to take a little longer and wasn’t as hot as it should have been, but it wasn’t cold and we just wanted to eat. It was clear the location was having a problem with staff as more than half the tables were empty while people waited to be seated. We were very appreciative of the staff for working on a holiday while being understaffed. However, there is never an excuse to be short with a customer who just walked in the door. We will most likely be back the next time we are in the area. Hopefully, they can solve their staffing issue by then.

Consistently some of the worst food I’ve had but ONLY if you order food to go. Dining in is great. I just arrived at home with the coldest hardest fries I’ve ever received. I only live 5 minutes away so they didn’t have to travel far. This is a constant thing when you order to go from the Brunswick location. I almost always just throw the fries away. My suggestion to everyone who goes here is to dine in if you want your food to be fresh.

The place was not terribly busy but we waited 20 minutes for a table. Appetizer was mediocre but the main entree was good.

So we walk thru the door at 9:05 p.m., and the host looks at us like, what the hell are you doing here. Then, he tells us that there will be a 15-minute wait, I count 10 open tables. As more cars arrived, you could see the agitation in the host. When we finally got seated, our server was really good. We quickly got our drinks, spinach, and artichoke dip, which was good, but it tasted like the recipe was changed a little. Long Island ice tea was good, but the wife’s martini was not. Our entrees were very good, but most likely will go to the one in Auburn next time.

Waitress clearly didn’t want a party of 5 at 9 pm. Had manager come out to tell me could not have byob. So I removed it and he threw us out. With an attitude never again clearly he was pickep on as a kid
