Maaan just moved from pierce County so when I saw Apple teriyaki, I told my fiance, oh my goodness, they have the best teriyaki and they give you left over for daaays! Well, Dorothy, CLEARLY I’m no longer in Tac town because… what a waste of money!!! $23 for these small, tasteless food? Oh, and I forgot, 3 pieces of lettuces?!?! ‍♀️ … yuck, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! if ya wanna get your money’s worth and happen to be in pierce County, go to the Apple Teriyaki on Steele Street! You’re welcome!

This is the worst place I’ve ever ordered from. I’m not sure what kind of business this is. My fiancé went to this place after I ordered two combos. They first made the mistake to charge her for three combos. My fiancé came home and the food looked like this. I went back to the restaurant to get my money back but they were closed even though they don’t close until 8. I’m really disappointed.

Disgusting! I think my beef was spoiled because it had a funny taste and I got sick shortly after eating it! The sauce wasn’t good either definitely will not be going back

Some of the worst teriyaki I have eaten. Very dry and hard chicken. The salad was skimpy even for teriyaki standards. The gyoza was good but not hard to make something premade that you only have to heat up.

I was there first time on 10/01/2013. I ordered Chicken Curry @ $7.99 and other things. Food was the worst. All of it. But chicken curry must have been from another planet – definitely not an Asian dish. Some water with lots of starch and something resembling green curry but not tasting like it. Very little of chicken swimming in that starchy water with…green peas from a frozen package and not much else to remember. Except for a bad meal, sticky tables, and a worry if I will get sick or not. I eat most of it because a friend took me there. She said she likes this place. She ordered a different dish, but she only tasted it and left most of it. I didn’t want to ruin her mood. I guess, she didn’t want to ruin mine…

It’s a good local teriyaki shop. The young woman at the counter is quiet but very polite. Whatever you get, it’s cooked perfectly and very tasty. The prices seem a little higher than other local places but feel the food is better here!

The teriyaki chicken and spicy mongolian beef combo T11, was so delicious, i forgot to take a picture, amazing! And their service was great, while we waited, we were blessed with a bounty of hot tea and Egg Drop soup which was the tastiest egg drop soup i have EVER had! I look forward to my next visit to try other dishes and sides. 🙂

Lady at the counter was lifeless and never made eye contact with me….she made me feel like I upset her by walking into the establishment. I was hungry after after stopping by another teriyaki place right down the street leaving because I didn’t see bathrooms…I inconveniently stopped at this place. I placed my order and went to the bathroom and the water had 0 pressure and oozed out of the faucet. Sat down and waited 20 minutes for my food…….when she served it to me she made me feel like a prisoner flopping the plate on the table and walking away. I felt guilty for eating the food which was standard. I walked out of there feeling like I would never eat at another Asian place as long as I’m alive on this planet. I also had this weird feeling they might have done something to my food ‍♂️
