APOLLONIA’S IS CASH ONLY! Keep this in mind because you don’t want to miss out on this pizza. This is one of the best Brooklyn style pizzerias in LA. We showed up 20 minutes before closing and there was a line of around 5 people, but there’s also online ordering available. We ended up getting the last fresh slice and asked to cut it in half. The staff is very chill and they just want to see people enjoy their pizza. Look at these pictures! I had to take a cross-section to show just how thin crust this pizza is. There’s a small bit of doughiness but it pairs well with the insane crunch on the bottom. This isn’t a gooey, cheesy pizza. That’s my preference but I can recognize that this is like pizza perfection.

Came here because of Dave Portnoy. And he was right on the spot. Best NY Pizza I’ve had in LA. I wasn’t crazy about the Detroit. But that just me. Definitely coming back.

Came here because of Dave Portnoy’s review and I can say it doesn’t live up to the hype for me. When we took off the pepperoni on both the deep dish and regular it got better and actually got close to the rating from the review but it was still just ok. One thing of note is I don’t think their oven was set right because half of the pizza tasted like gas. Nice staff and decent place but I don’t think it’s worth it to make a long drive here especially with the cost, wait time, and terrible parking .

this pizza spot must officially be the best in Los angeles. We tried a few Detroit-style pieces and it was out of this world. Prices are reasonable for the quality and experience. 10/10 would smash again. ps. make sure to check out the opening hours, they are a lil tricky

Excellent pizza with great customer service. They have an excellent assortment of soda and juices. They have pizza by the slice, square and the entire pie. Well deserved score on OneBite. Based on my pizza experience here in Los Angeles, definitely a solid 8.1

Portnoy gave it an 8.2, and I would agree with that score, nice crust even when only buying a single slice of thin and square, nice flavours, pretty much perfect in terms of ratios, if you’re in LA definitely somewhere to try, walked in got our slices in literally 2 minute, staff were very polite, however even at 7pm there was only 1 parking spot in the far corner, be aware there may not be any when arriving at an earlier point in the day.

The Chicago style was dry, hard and over cooked. The winner was the ny style pizza. I do like that they have vegan cheese. Small space inside so only standing counter. Cash only. Very friendly staff kept with the busyness very well.

I finally had the chance to get Apollonia’s Pizzeria and was blown away. I ordered online well in advance and only waited 5 minutes for my delicious pizza, which was unlike anything I had ever tasted before! The quality of the ingredients was top-notch and the pizza was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth the price for special occasions. It’s going to be dangerous living just around the corner from this place… Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious pizza experience. Keep in mind the square pizzas aren’t your typical pie. Also – parking is abysmal even when it isn’t under construction, you’ll likely need to park in the neighborhood behind the building on the street.
