Pizza was excellent. 1st and last time inside diner customer. Service inside not good. Waited over an hr to get our order then had to go to counter to request the remaining items with our order, plates and silverware . Received wrong beverage… Bad service all the way around. The waitresses were dressed in not so family oriented attire and unfortunately the dining area needs some TLC. Although the service was so poor, I highly recommend ordering to go as the pizza is well worth the frustration.

Fast service and the pizza was so good! Flavorful crust with the perfect balance of chew and crisp. We ordered the Carnivore on Original crust. Hit the spot! Lots of flavor and not too much sauce.

If you’re wondering if you should go here, the Olive Garden, some BBQ joint, or Texas Roadhouse, don’t think twice about this place okay! The pizza was so good – crust not too thicc, just enough sauce, and the Hawaii 5-0 although a basic choice, was just good. The real star was the cheesy garlic sticks – BOMB ✨ all the foods being served that passed our table looked just as fresh, hot, and ready to devour. Back to those cheesy garlic sticks, swimming in yummy butter, served with the best red sauce – get those for sure, you won’t regret it!

First time trying this restaurant. My husband and I were very disappointed. We walked in to no clean tables. As we proceeded to find a seat a server directs us to another side of the restaurant instead of wiping a table off for us. She clearly didn’t want to wait on us. We found a table, it was dirty, I had to ask our server to wipe the table for us. We ordered soda, they were flat. We did order the banana peppers as an appetizer and enjoyed them. We ordered a 9′ pizza and 2 subs. It took 27 mins to get our pizza. When the pizza was served it was cold. Our subs came out at separate times. The subs had a great flavor but weren’t hot and fresh. We sent the pizza back and did not want a replacement. While waiting on our check for 18 mins the manager on duty (I assume) walked by us multiple times and did not make eye contact or speak to us. I had to ask someone to get our server so we could get our bill. Mind you we were there during a festival, after their rush. I could understand if they were busy at the time. There were only 3 or 4 tables in the whole place at the time we were waiting on our food. I set my expectations too high for this place and was let down.

We are a regular customer of Apollo here in Richmond, ordering sometimes weekly but the last couple of times we’ve had discouraging experiences, which are being ignored by the restaurant. They used to provide their own delivery service, but apparently have changed to another service. Their website has had problems, which have improved somewhat over the course of time. But, the last couple times we’ve ordered for delivery, somehow it kicks the order into pick-up, even though we leave a delivery driver tip. Something is wrong. They did end up delivering 15 minutes after we called to ask what is going on. Our food arrived cold and missing some items. They are not responding or offering any apologies or credits of any kind. Not sure we can do business with them anymore after these occurrences. Sad, because there is not much here in Richmond, KY.

Overall great experience. Server was really friendly, made you feel like you were important. Even tho they were swamped and only had one cook, pizza still came out in good time. Got a thin crust pep and bacon, wife got cauliflower pizza. It was good pizza, I think I had higher expectations. I would definitely go back to try other things on the menu!

Absolutely love this place. Great pizza and just about everything on their menu. We go once a week, and they never disappoint.

First off, let me preface this by letting you know that we are from Chicago. We are insane about our pizza. Not that deep-dish, tourist pizza, but REAL Chicago Pizza. The thin crust, party cut, tavern style pizza. When we moved to Kentucky a year ago and my neighbor recommended Pizza Hut, I knew we were in serious trouble. We had tried just about everything and none of it was good. I started begging friends and family to bring pizza with them when they visited, just to get a fix. But that all changed the day we walked into Apollo Pizza. The pizza gods were shining down on me that day. We just moved to Richmond and had no food in the house and thought “why not?” I certainly wasn’t expecting much. But when we walked in, it LOOKED like a Chicago pizza place and it smelled wonderful. We had ordered two thin-crust pizzas to go. When we got them home and opened the boxes … THEY WERE PARTY CUT (little squares)!! Ok, ok…but how does it taste? IT IS AMAZING. I almost cried. I. Almost. Cried. It reminded me of a Barraco’s or Vito & Nick’s pizza from back home – arguably the best pizza in Chicago (don’t @ me). Apollo, please don’t ever close. We’ve already been to your establishment four times, twice in the last seven days. You have single-handedly saved pizza in Kentucky. And our little family will be your biggest supporters ❤

We enjoyed our pizza. We got the largest one. It was huge! Could easily feed 4 super hungry people. The waitress was very helpful and kind.
