I came here with my sister a month ago and we enjoyed the food. My curry was very good and she seemed to like her biryani. The samosa was decent and her lentil soup was great. The place was pretty quiet for the night we came. I’d recommend Apna masala readily.

Decent food. Good price. I just wish the lunch and diner specials wish state desert included on outside menu stated so inside as well. They didn’t offer it either. I guess one has to speak up about such. -TIP

Yes Babu is your boi for sure. Place is delicious and less crowded than the other 3 Indian restaurant s in the same building. Tight spot for a

Nothing on the menu was good! The oil-est samosas I have ever had! The food was cold and tasteless. The Naan bread was reheated and not fresh. We were 11 people, not a single person enjoyed the food. Save your self a trip and money. I would rather stand and eat cart-food than dine-in here.

We were a gang of 5 and got into the restaurant around 11. We ordered some appetizers(indian wings) which they were very quick to bring and very tasty, spicy and zingy. We had them bring our main courses which too we had no complaints of. The prices were fair enough considering they were located in downtown Manhattan. We stayed way past opening hours but they were just too considerate to even come up to us to say anything and told us to be done whenever it best suited us so I’m very happy with their model customer service.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The drinks are nice and strong and they’re proud of it (as well they should be). My friend and I each had a korma dish (I had chicken and she had lamb). The korma was creamy and delicious with the perfect amount of nuts and fruit alongside the meat. Prices are really reasonable too! Lovely place!

Best Indian food I have ever eaten! We were visiting from Los Angeles 8 years ago when we ate here for the first time. The memory stuck with us so positively that we had to return during our current trip. Lovely, festive ambience and Naz was a charming waiter. Will eat here again during our next New York vacation.

Something must have gone wrong with our dishes. Both ordered tikka masalas (judge all you want, it’s a culinary masterpiece). Both arrived smelling great, looking great, but tasting… flavorless. I’ve never been so bamboozled by a dish. Each bite I expected its wonderful outward qualities to translate into some semblance of flavor, but it never did. Decor was amazing, service was good. Worth trying again, I think.

Completely enjoyed my experience, I ordered the veggie samosa and chickpea masala and I don’t have any complaints, I personally just wish the naan came with the meal but overall great food and the waiter was exceptional. Will definitely be back! P.s the decor inside was satisfying as well.

The only thing subtle was the taste, which with dishes like, garlic naan, vindaloo, and tikki masala, shouldnt be the case. Service was non-existent. Our server only had two tables, but we still waited 10-15 for the check, as well as ordering. The lights are excessive, the music was loud, the ‘art’ was plastic screwed into the wall. The manager/owner just kinda stood in the door to the kitchen and watched over the place but didn’t seem to do anything.
