Pizza was phenomenal however they need to learn how to measure their pizza or buy bigger boxs pizza was folded over. Also looked thrown in to box see pic. Also sharpen the knife or teach your cutter how to cut. Slices were not cut through couldn’t separate the slices was like one big pizza.

Ok, so this place needs more attention. Stopped in based on the reviews and wasn’t disappointed. The pizza is up there with the best in the state. I say this as someone who has been eating at the New Haven Apizza hotspots for decades. They also have slices! The owner was also very friendly. This place needs some recognition!

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a side of meatballs and a pepperoni, roasted red pepper pizza. The meatballs were large and very solid. But they are cooked seperate from the sauce and have a very baked taste. Just not my thing. The pizza had some serious crust flop. The flavor of the pizza was excellent, it was very enjoyable. The marinara for the meatballs was also very good. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.8.

Apizza Grande has been making some excellent pizza for quite some time. It seems like the bulk of their business comes from takeout and/or delivery. If you plan on coming for dine in, do not be deterred by the shabby interior. This place may not be as spruced up as others, but the pizza is fantastic. I always try to check them out when I’m in the area.

We moved away from all the good pizza places,but when I do go down to some appointments I make sure we get their pizza to go. We just had Pepe’s pizza in the casino this week and we all agreed the pizza we had tonight from grande was so much better. Takes me an hour to get home and even reheating in the air fryer has them beat. Trying their canollis tonight too. Can’t wait to go back!

If you have food allergies, don’t eat here!! They don’t care!! When I placed my order I made them aware of severe tree nut allergy. Anaphylaxis and death can occur if tree nuts ingested. When I received my order, I found out that they don’t know if their food contains allergens, didn’t bother to let me know that they weren’t sure, and gave me my food anyways. I am not able to eat this food and they won’t refund my money. For those with life threatening allergies.. don’t risk it.
