Javier was an excellent server, has great communication skills and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. Robert was our cook and the best cook I have ever interacted with at any hibachi restaurant. He was comedic, carried the conversation naturally through the whole dinner and even recommended how to cook and eat our steak which was a great suggestion. Overall definitely would recommend Aoki over any hibachi restaurant out there

We found the food and drinks to be top notch! Unfortunately, service was very bad. Servers were slow. Never checked in to see how things were going or if we needed anything… but we could always see them huddled up and talking amongst each other instead of being attentive to their tables. I guess since they automatically add 18% gratuity to the bill, they think they don’t need to work for it.

Amazing service every time.I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the vibrant ambiance and delectable cuisine at Aoki in Miami. The impeccable service and warm hospitality provided by the attentive staff truly enhanced my dining experience. The menu offered a delightful array of flavors and expertly crafted dishes that left me impressed. Aoki undoubtedly stands out as a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary adventure.

Wow. I have never had a worse experience. The waiter was extremely inattentive. We had to ask for refills, then when he never came back, had to ask him again for refills. Had to literally get up and walk around the restaurant to find someone to get us our check. Found our server, he goes back behind the bar and never comes back. I get up to go searching for him again and he’s texting and not working. Go up to him and he says “how can I help you” UMMMM our check!!!! My drink was trash and the food was adequate at best. It was $70 for 2 people to eat. So disappointed.

I recommend reservations if possible as it is hibachi it takes a bit longer. We started with the God of fire roll, this was spicy but a flavorful spicey. We all did the special, wagu steak twin lobster tails. This also came with the house salad (not a fan of ginger dressing so it was ok), veggies and fried rice. The steak and lobster were definitely worth the price it was delicious and a good amount of food. I had to take some home. The old fashioned was super smooth and way too easy to drink. The Tokyo Sour was also refreshing and delicious. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert, but don’t fear I will most assuredly go back and make it to dessert next time.

Good service, but can’t ignore the fact that a cockroach crawled over our grill and then staff proceeded to get mad at us saying that it was a waterbug (which is a cockroach) and that if we don’t want to eat there then don’t eat there. Great birthday dinner and my whole party of twelve somehow made the best of it! At least we got 10% off. I attached a picture of the dead cockroach, it took the guy a total of 10 different tries to kill it after a friend of mine flicked it onto the ground with his menu.
