Stopped in here after a long day of work and craving a stuffed bread or Stromboli for days. I read the reviews before hand and am NOT disappointed. This is probably THE BEST stuffed bread I’ve ever had! That cheese pull is amazing! And the sauce is delicious. Only thing I’d add is more pepperoni. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a new place to eat. I’m a SUPER picky eater.

This Italian restaurant is a hidden gem!!!! Well worth the trip to Shelton!!!The pizza, their stuffed breads, the pasta, and all of their selections make for the best dining in the area!!!! I had the pizza special with sausage, fresh garlic and broccoli rabe and it was fantastic!!!!! I also tried their stuffed breads which were also fantastic!!!!!Oh and the prices are fair and reasonable as well!!!!Definately try this place!!!!! Update I was very disappointed with our broccoli rabe pizza. It came burnt and like a cracker. Definitely over cooked!!! I had asked for it crisp but not like a cracker. Never ask for their pizza crisp because all their food is cooked perfect or you will end up with what we got. The girl never asked if we liked it, I think she already knew, and when I told her she walked away. I told them they do not care and they never offered to do anything. We were good sports and ate it anyway but anywhere else I would have sent it back. Was not acceptable because of this.

After my sons karate class we decided to get some pizza. Literally just picked this spot because of the ratings and location. We were so pleased pizza was great and the apps too. Dad has the clams over linguini and he loves it. Try the honey bacon pizza, soooo good!

Antonios pizza is forever a family favorite in my family with exceptional service, and kindness you will always feel like family. This is my wife and my favorite Pizza place. The price is reasonable and the taste of pizza, especially the seafood, is exceptional. We choose to come here because of no wait and the pizza quality rivals what Frank Pepe and Sally’s make in New Haven. The only minor drawback we see is that sometimes the freshness is a bit less than usual on a certain day of the week, perhaps due to the input ingredients.

I called in, and at the time didn’t know I got the OWNER of the place, Antonio. I ordered a chicken wrap for my girl, a tenders and fries for my daughter. I asked the person/owner on the phone what he recommended: broccoli rabe and sausage grinder or meatball parm. Being that it’s the owner I expected a more experienced response, he said, ” the meatball parm, because I can make it faster” then put me on hold because he had a customer calling in… Antonio’s messed up my 2 previous orders and I said nothing, just waited on hold. Then he comes back and said which one you want, I said broccoli rabe and sausage grinder, and I asked what cheese comes on it if any at all? He says you ask too many questions and put me on hold again…comes back on the phone yelling in Italian, impatient angry man. Then I said just give me it as it comes, but PLEASE sausage well done. Pickup the food bring it home, the broccoli rabe and sausage was in a to go container, not a grinder and the sausage was barely cooked. Goes to show you how important people who answer the phone are, when they are clearly more competent and patient the the owner HIMSELF. I wish I could put zero stars, piss poor customer service, from the man who’s name is on the BUILDING…never going there again
