Nice pizza place overall. Great pizza and wings. They need to get better chicken for the chicken parm, but their other meals are good. They have a lot of speciality pizzas to choose from. The staff is also friendly and there’s a pleasant overall atmosphere. I’d recommend going here if you’re looking for a good slice of pizza.

My wife and I came back after a decent experience our first time there. This time, we witness the owner “handling” his own employee by telling him to shut up multiple times. There was a minor misunderstanding regarding which pizza belonged to the four young customers who ordered their slices. Once they were served, the cook confused the slices for the customers and the owner lost his mind. Watching the owner up front yelling and disrespecting his cook for an honest mistake just made it uncomfortably awkward for everyone there. Not coming back.

Pizza completely burnt on the bottom. Many time before it was somewhat burnt. Today we picked up the order and the pizza was uneatable – completely black on the bottom. the store would not even take it back , they offered 5% coupon for the next order. we had to throw the pizza away. We are not coming back!

Antonio’s is a small brick oven pizzeria in the heart of Metuchen. The atmosphere is casual and I really appreciated the various paintings, awards, and art hanging around the restaurant. This decor really added a level of comfort to the restaurant that gave it more of a friendly, neighborhood restaurant feel. While the restaurant is small, there is still a decent amount of seating. The service was quick and our server was very friendly.

Questioned the young guy at the counter as to whether the rollatini was chewy (bad ) or not. He assured me he’d had it and liked it. Total understatement. The egglant was perfect and the ricotta was the best I’d ever tasted. Other dishes here (Alfredo, Meat sauce) have also been good.

This is not the same Antonio’s. The crust is not its usual crisp. I ordered spinach and eggplant and they used frozen. The spinach made the pizza soggy.
