Mr. Gardini, an Italian immigrant living in Mexico & the U.S. was the first to introduce Caesar salad to the world. Traditionally made with romaine lettuce and croutons, the salad is tossed in a dressing of lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, anchovies, garlic, Dijon mustard, Parmesan cheese and black pepper. The atmosphere was romantic while still having that itailian “familia” charm. All service was great with keeping the table clear of finished dishes and our sparkling water being replenished. We had such a great experience! We made reservations at the last minute and arrived on time and were seated promptly. The atmosphere is upscale but not overly pretentious and there is a variety in the clientele. Claudio was our server, and he gave us the best recommendations. The service was great and cordial.
