Extremely respectful personal, extremely clean everything floors, walls, seating area, decor, restrooms just excellent and comfortable to be in that establishment. The food was absolutely delicious and you get a lot. I had the whiting and fries it came with hush puppies Omgoodness . The coleslaw was really good also and they don’t skimp on the portions. Yes I give ***** FIVE STARS and looking forward to visiting again all the way from New York.

My first time here I ordered three piece whiting platter. It came with Three large whiting fillets, 3 large hush puppies a large portion of fries and 4oz coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food I received and the platter was around $11. Everything was really great and tasted fresh. My only critique is on the coleslaw as it was bland and over chopped, but Seriously everything else was great. I will most definitely be coming back here again

No seasoning added to food. The Cole slaw taste like straight mayo. The fried shrimp was the only piece I liked but it was basically bland.

I ordered the catfish platter. The coleslaw was okay. The fish was fried perfectly not oily and not over seasoned.

Got an oyster po boy, it was so good! The oysters were crispy and delicious, and they definitely gave me more than six inches of sandwich. Still, the sandwich is so big with the bread and the oysters that it’s a little hard to eat without dropping things

man this food establishment is the best seafood spot in Newport News. Steam medium female crabs are $18 a dozen and they look like large females. Fried crabs the best in Newport News l travel across the MMT ( Monitor Merrimac Tunnel) to get the BEST.
