Was in Yonkers to get some paperwork and decided to get lunch before heading back to the city by train. I searched for food and Anselmo’s Pizzeria & Deli was nearby. Initially, I was surprised on how small the place was but it was crowded (both tables were occupied and there was a line). Decided on getting two slices of pizza (shrimp and then cheese) and a drink. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the place but better if you takeout.

It’s a small cozy family deli/pizzeria. They are organized , it’s clean and the workers there are very friendly and dedicated to providing great customer service. They serve breakfast and lunch and their menu is very long and food is beyond satisfying but most of all made fresh to order. It’s hard to find a good place to eat in Yonkers especially in Getty Square but you won’t go wrong ordering from here.

I have been coming to this place for 4 years already and I absolutely love everything!! I usually order chicken tacos, chicken fajita wrap, or a pizza and they never disappoint. The food is fresh and tasty and THEIR GREEN SAUCE IS DELICIOUS!!!

Thumbs up to Anselmo’s for superior quality, value, taste and customer service.Today we shared a sausage calzone and three tacos (Chorizo, steak and chicken) The crust of the calzone was incredible and I know NY pizza. It was stuffed with cheeses and excellent sausage, baked to crispy perfection. All for $5.00.
