Make sure you have cash or cash app. Guy was really nice, and food prices were low. Looks like a family run spot. Food wasn’t over or under seasoned. All the food was good! From Columbus but would most definitely stop by again if I was in the area. Located only 5 minutes away from the Toledo museum of art. Parking may be difficult for people with mobility issues but they’re so nice I’m sure if you ordered over the phone for that reason they would bring it out.

Let me say this about this restaurant back in the ’80s and ’90s this restaurant was the best to go to for barbecue and shrimp now their food quality has changed they always have this old lady in there that is taking orders over the phone and never get your order right I always order mild sauce extra sauce and four extra pieces of bread on my half slab I’ve been back there several times thinking it was just a mistake once or twice and maybe having a different person take my order things will change when that is definitely not the case I always come out with something different than I ordered especially when it comes to the sauce and the only thing they can tell you is they will fix it next time but the fact that I had my food and went home and I already travel a distance to get to them to get some of their food really upset me and then I feel like if they mess up you should be compensated if not right then then you should on your next visit but they are not a good example of a black-owned business when it comes to compensation and making sure their customers are happy and that is the sad thing that has happened to this black owned business over the years
