This is not your typical restaurant! This feels more like dining at a wonderful Indian family’s home, and just as welcoming.

Overall the food was great! This was my first time trying onion pakkoda and parotta, both of which were delicious. The butter chicken was very good as well, just a little off in the balance of the amount of chicken vs sauce. Same with the raitha, the vegetables were pretty light. Not a deal breaker though, I’ll try something different next time.

This was a great first experience at Annie’s kitchen. Tonight they had a special where we got all that and a little desert for $17. It was nice that you got to taste a bunch of different flavors. My favorite by far had to the that bread. It’s like flaky and great to dip into the chicken curry to soak up all the flavors. I would definitely recommend and will be back in the future!

Fabulous first experience to Annie’s kitchen!! Enjoyed sampling the entrees from the chef and learning about Southern India regional dishes. So delicious!! It was wonderful to go to a new restaurant with all our alpha gal limitations and discover a whole world of foods that could be prepared for us or tweaked to our needs if we called ahead. Chef was very flexible on adjusting spiciness intensity as well. Will absolutely be back! The prices were a great value for portion sizes! You can eat in the quiet dining room if you prefer or take out.

We came to Annie’s for my mothers birthday as she’s a big fan of Indian food, and while I usually could take it or leave it, this place is something very special. Dr. Prince is such an inviting host. He enthusiastically allowed us to try each entree and starter. Everything he gave us was exceptional and we ended up ordering the entire entree menu! (Dr. Prince even gave my mother a special dish for her birthday on the house!) There wasn’t a miss among the things we tried (the coconut milk chicken is to die for). The atmosphere felt very comfortable, as if we could sit there all night trying different foods and enjoying each others company. We will be returning. 5 stars all around. If you’re a fan of Indian food or even if you’re not, give this place a try, a real hidden gem in Lynchburg.

This place is a must-go in Lynchburg! I’ve lived here going on 4 years and this is what I have been missing. The bread they offer with the meals is alone worth coming for!! This food is absolutely delicious and will become a staple at my house for my roommate’s and I.

Frustrated that they didn’t allow tap water… Forced us to drink water out of single use plastic bottles. The goat dish we got was mostly bones and fat…. And too spicy for my taste… Other food I sampled was delicious. We were the only other guests in the place. The vibe in their back room was sorta weird not any place I’d want to take friends to impress. If you wanna do pickup I’d think it was fine. The food has potential to be great.. Just need to work on the rest of the experience… Also it was very pricey for the portions till it was all said and done.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants this side of the Atlantic! Even better it’s in our little town of Lynchburg and Forest.

We were looking for good Indian restaurants near to Roanoke with better reviews. At that time, we found Annie’s kitchen. We traveled all the way 50 miles, to just have our dinner. I haven’t seen any good South Indian food restaurants in Roanoke, so we went over there. We ordered chicken 65, cauliflower 65, onion pakoda, mutton curry, chicken biryani, parota and gulab jamun. The taste of the food is really good. I personally and genuinely recommend this restaurant, because the quality and quantity of food is justifiable. The prices of the appetizers and main dishes were reasonable.

Wow i really can’t say how great it is, COCONUT Chicken Curry is one you MUST Try. Smooth Creamy coconutty flavor with fresh coconut aroma make your taste buds cry for more. Goat Chops another new Dish in town and it has so much flavors and so tender which you can’t resist eat more, they do only have limited menu items and owner said he yet to add Ghee Masala Dosai and Ulundu Wadai ( i taste the samples he offer me to test) i think i am 200% sure it will be the turning point of this restuarant and it might be the home run, this authentic south Indian food really take you to a next level of indian flavors
