i ordered catfish with mac n cheese and collard greens. my girlfriend got kids wings with mac n cheese and buttered corn. and let me just say this is probably the best soul food i’ve tasted around here. the fish tasted fresh , the chicken wings tasted fresh as well so you know they’re using separate oil (you know how many places dont) ! the sides were amazing with the mac n cheese being rich and creamy . the collard greens were very nice and tender, so was the corn & the bread. nothing crazy or different added, making it just like grandmas. the service was immediate in the drive thru and everything about the place made it an authentic experience for soul food.

I love auntie Laura’s food However, the last three times I have been there have truly been disappointing. The first time they forgot my peach cobbler not too big of a deal however, I called them and when I went back two days later to pick it up, I waited 30 minutes going inside the building to get my peach cobbler before somebody responded to me. The next time I was disappointed because I called and didn’t get an answer. I live in Smyrna and I drove all the way to Riverdale only for the guy to tell me they were closed. This is the same guy that took 30 minutes to give me my peach cobbler. Yesterday I was disappointed because l, I ordered the dark meat chicken dinner adult portion with two sides and here’s what it looks like. Looks like a kids meal to me particularly my chicken My saving grace is that the food is usually consistent. I Love the dressing especially I understand Covid took a toll but, the $6.99 price for the small serving of peach cobbler and $16.99 for the fried chicken dinner . I guess I better get back to cooking myself. I had been a pretty faithful customer and often brought new people with me during my visits. I have no doubt that you will continue to Prosper!

The lines are always long here, but the food is good. More attention should be paid to the visual anesthetic of the place. The drink I ordered was very sweet almost too sweet. I expected the peach cobbler to be better. It was good but I’ve had better. The cornbread dressing was great. The peas were delicious as well.

I cannot complain about the $5.00 Kids Veggie Plates – they are filling with the added benefit of offering a healthier option over many fast food meals, but I am definitely not happy being assessed a 20% service charge just for ordering 6 or more plates! And you boldly want a minimum 15% tip per order to boot, with anywhere from a 30 – 90 minute wait in line after ordering your food before you get it!?! My tipping etiquette is that I generally base it on the service received. 15% may be reasonable for waitstaff at a sit-down restaurant, but your establishment is still not offering such service post-COVID. Asking for a 15% minimum on takeout with the ridiculous wait time in line at your establishment is unreasonable, in my opinion.

no one answers they dont pay attention to the order I ordered on uber today got my order and it was completely wrong. I sent my co worker to pick u we get our food my chicken is dry and the vegetables I ordered I did not receive. This is sad because I have been a customer for a while seems the quality of service has fallen completely. I have called 15 times back to back no answer I don’t think I will go here again due to the incompetence’s.

Ordered meatloaf and got something that looked like meatballs that literally fell apart into mush. There was no consistency and the inside looked like seaweed! I’ve eaten at this restaurant for years and I can’t believe this is what they are selling!! I just gave away almost $15 to another restaurant that is losing value.

I really hate that I have to write this review as I’ve loved this place and would drive from anywhere to get their dressing and turkey wings however my plate from Saturday was not good, bad to the point I’m not going back. So much sage in the dressing that it was nasty and this place had the best dressing I’ve ever had from any restaurant other than Busy Bee or King’s, this place had them beat, not anymore! The turkey wings were scorched on 1 side, both wings as I had two. Far too much mushroom gravy on the wings and just not the same flavor as back in the day. The building is raggedy, the broke drive-thru intercom is raggedy and all the money that place has made over years to not invest into its brand, that’s weird. This place need the old cooks from back when and a makeover STAT, staff included.

No hype here… thought the food can’t be this good to wait in a long line wrapped around the building!! I was so very WRONG! If you in or around Riverdale, Airport, Fayette and Clayton County you must stop by. May have some the best Soul Food in town. Deliciously fried Catfish, pork chops, well seasoned veggies, and great portions. Stayed in line over 30 minutes. No one left. Be prepared to wait…. For the deliciousness of well prepared dishes! Don’t forget dessert. And as always, Don’t forget to tip!!!

Vegetables plate and smotheted turkey wing and dressing, yams, squash, collards, with turkey, rice and gravy . My daughter had two smothered porkchops with the works, rice and gravy, dressings, Mac n cheese and cornbread plus peach punch. This is why the lines daily are wrapped around the building

I was impressed with the consideration taken for food that is delivered. It was wrapped in Saran Wrap, both the food and drink. It was good; 2 piece chicken with the best dressing I ever ate out a restaurant , and the peach cobbler is really worth bragging on. The chicken a lil’ salty for my taste. The Mac and cheese was tasty as well. The added bonus, it was not expensive! Good food!
