Delicious food and great service… ambiance leaves a lot to be desired but we will definitely be back!

I took my 4 year old out to eat during lunch before we went swimming and we had a ball! Food was great! We even got a free crab stick to introduce babygirl to some sushi.

I ordered the Crab Rangoons – 10/10! I’ve been to almost a dozen places in the DMV to find a good spot for crab rangoons & have had very little success. Finally found my spot. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

They have so many quality dishes it’s hard to remember the standouts I will say the wonton soup is amazing and a perfect addition to any order even if you don’t have it when you order knowing it’s in your fridge for next time is more than with ordering every time. The sushi is always quality although I do stick with the basics I have enjoyed their special rolls. The noodle dishes aren’t the best in the city but the expansive menu means you can easily find something you’d want and it’s gonna be great.

Some of the worst sushi I’ve had here in DC. The rolls were falling apart and not even sliced through completely.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but I can’t really report anything good about my experience at Annie Chens except that the service was good. I was presented with a nice seaweed salad on the house and fresh citrus fruit as palate cleansers. Unfortunately nothing else was even acceptable. I ordered a sushi roll and some nigiri; I was given A sushi roll but not the one I ordered and the nigiri was not at all fresh. It even Tasted old. Worse, it was room temperature warm making me fear I was going to get food poisoning. The woman who prepared my food, while she was very nice, kept pausing while preparing my sushi to text on her iPhone— with her gloves on! So unsanitary! And worst of all, they had a small dog running around the restaurant including behind the sushi bar in the food preparation area. The people were all very nice, but unfortunately because of the low quality of food and serious sanitation issues, there is nothing that could convince me to return to Annie Chens.

Stay away. Has there kids helping set tables. Kids were scratching their hair over the plates. No one came over to serve us. There are two other sushi within two blocks 100% better.

Why doesn’t this place have 5 stars? The lychee martini’s are not on the menu but they’re a hidden gem! I’m from New York and I will say that the sushi here is fresh and good!

I wanted to like this place, because I was so excited to have boba in the neighborhood, but I felt very sick after drinking the boba milk tea. The milk tasted sour, like it was expired or wasn’t refrigerated properly.
