I’ll be generous with two stars. My family and I wanted ice cream, my kids are little so cones in cups would be fine. I asked for that and the kid at the window said no, we can’t do that? What you can’t give me a cup to flip the cone into ? No. Um okay, that’s odd, can I pay for it? No. Ok whatever. so the kids got cups and my husband and I got cones. but we had to ask for spoons to eat it with. Almost $30 for 4 ice creams (Seriously?). I had to ask for napkins because the ice cream was starting to melt, it was 90+ degrees out. The lady at the window gave me TWO…for FOUR people. I then again asked if I could have a cup, by this time my daughter’s ice cream was melting all over the place. The lady again said “no, we can’t do that because of inventory controls”. Lady I don’t care about your inventory controls, I just paid $30 for ice cream and I need a cup. She said “well I’ll have to charge you”. Now by this time my ice cream was literally melting all down my hands and arms and I had no cash on me. I had to unzip my husbands pockets on his swimsuit with sticky hands to pull out a $10 bill to pay for my $1 cup. Unbelievable service oh and they have no trash cans you have to walk around the back of the building to use the dumpster.

The only thing passable at this place was that the chicken fingers which were cooked properly with a crispy crunch, and the BBQ sauce was decent. Everything else was majorly disappointing. French fries were just half-cooked and soggy. What restaurant serves soggy French fries? Even when customers asked for the fries to be thrown back into the fryer, the staff stares back at you with a bizarre look of how dare you ask that! Hamburgers were barely medium-rare, looking more on the rare side. I was worried about my eight year-old daughter getting food poisoning at the beach. The hotdog had burn marks going up one side. I don’t know how this place can charge what they charge and serve such subpar food. I don’t mind paying premium when I’m at a tourist destination, but the food here, especially the French fries, were not cooked properly. And the strawberry smoothie was such a rip off – mostly ice and sugar water for $7.50. I don’t expect to purchase food from here the next time I come to this beach. I would rather bring my own food.

Definitely use as a last resort, like other posters said, bring what you need to the beach. Figured we’d grab a couple of iced coffees with low expectations but still managed to be disappointed. Details were simple, both with milk and one with Splenda. Somehow managed to get one with milk and the other with half and half, neither with Splenda. When I asked which had the Splenda they had no idea. Staff seemed to be less than social so I didn’t push it. At least the kids Gatorades were right.

They don’t provide bags and don’t even wrap their food – it’s all open and easy targets for seagulls – they have a whopping sign that states NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SEAGULLS TAKING YOUR FOOD . Yet they don’t offer anything that will safeguard your purchase – I had to ask for a tray that didn’t hold all of the food I bought and was attacked when I got by the sand and my daughter was attacked and traumatized . About 25 seagulls were biting at me until I dropped the food and ran . Seems to me this place enjoys the fact that people have to come back for more food – I would think instead of a sign warning them of incumbent doom they would offer a bag and advise to keep food sealed until they return safely to their spot – very disappointed in their lack of empathy and the shallow way they hide behind the fact it’s not their fault the birds are aggressive .

Bring your own food to the beach! This place is trash. They got rid of all breakfast options so when you need to be at the beach at dawn on a Saturday just to get on the beach you starve. Food is terribly overpriced, 10$ for chicken tenders and oh if you want bbq sauce thats extra! Employees are rude too boot. An absolute joke, the city ran it better years ago.

It’s right by the beach and they have way more options than I expected. They have coffee, smoothies, ice cream, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, snacks, sunscreen, and more. The service was quick and the Italian ices we got were very tasty and refreshing.

We waited 39 minutes for 2 hotdogs. Dirty, rude customer service and Over priced. Next time I will bring my own snacks.
