The quality of food has really went downhill. Not cooked to menu standards or descriptions. I gave 3 stars for service only because I felt bad for the lady that was running the front. Flies everywhere. Smokey, hazy environment, ceiling tiles nasty. We used to love to eat here and did frequently. We gave it our last chance and that was it. Sorry.

We took visitors from out of state and ordered pizza and Stromboli. They totally missed the Stromboli on the order and it took forever to finally get it after asking. The tables and floors were dirty. Napkin holder empty and filthy. Seemed like no management. The pizza and Stromboli both had Italian sausage but it was weird like ground and chopped . Born and raised in New York City, it’s been very hard to find pizza in NC that comes close to NYC pizza, and I must say, I think I finally found it! The pizza here definitely felt like being back home. That taste was on point . My wife had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was one of the best Cheesesteaks I had in a while. When they say “New York style Pizza”, they weren’t kidding. It’s as close as you can get it. My only concern was the establishment itself. The restaurant can use a modern update. Overall, the quality of the food was great and I highly recommend this location for some REAL good pizza (can’t say that enough, lol)

I usually get the salad bar, which is awesome. The pepperoni and sausage pizza is very good New York style thin crust. All of their dishes are good. Cap your meal off with NY style cheesecake. It’s yummy goodness!

We thoroughly enjoy our experience at Anna Maria’s. The service was excellent and the food was too! We tried the cheese, veggie, pepperoni, and meatlovers pizza. I had the cheese and veggie as I’m pescatarian…delicious. My lunch mate had pepperoni and the meaty variety. When I’m in town again, I definitely plan to come back.
