Anita, Phil and son Tom founded Anita’s over 45 years ago in a little donut shop they converted into a carry out in Vienna. After Phil’s transfer to the U.S. Postal Service Headquarters in Washington, D.C., it forced the family to relocate from Albuquerque. Anita soon realized that her family recipes that had been handed down for generations from mother to daughter were unlike anything else she found here in Virginia. Her dream of sharing those recipes with the residents of Vienna and beyond was soon realized when they opened for business on December 23, 1974.

I admit, I ate more than I should have. It was so good, I couldn’t stop. The staff is really great, fast, friendly, and accurate. I highly recommend Anita’s.

I ordered beef enchiladas and ended up sending them back. I happen to be 40 weeks pregnant and the sauce was just a little too spicy and I started having contractions. The food also wasn’t good. The rice was bland and the beans were saturated in too much cheese and enchilada sauce. I explained this to the waiter, and instead of them being understanding I was still charged. I should’ve just left the food on the table with a written note and left. I am appalled by the poor customer service.

I’ve only ever ordered breakfast burritos to go. First off, their burritos are great! Definitely the best I’ve had in the area. Everything from the options to how they’re wrapped is on point.

Anita’s has been a family favorite since I was a young child. The food is always delicious. They have great breakfast options and is a wonderful place for a breakfast date. The breakfast specials are also good and at a good price. I would highly recommend, the food is great, the staff is friendly, and it is very family friendly.

Good service, tasty food. We went right after a local kids soccer game, so it was quiet busy. But wait staff was still doing an amazing job getting around, visiting customers, filling drinks, etc.
