I love the Angus Grill downtown. This new one has to step up quickly. Was excited to go to the new one. Got the jalapeno popper burger. Took over half an hour to come out of the kitchen. It was lukewarm as were my tater tots. Friend’s brisket sandwich was cold. No bacon on my burger that was supposed to be there and the toppings were minimal. Posting a pic from my plate and the website. Don’t quite look the same. Will update after my next visit if it’s improved!

Checked out the new 2nd location. Staff were nice. The AC broke down so it was like a sauna inside. We got the Fried Green Tomato and Bacon Jam burgers to-go with side of white potato and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries usually come with sugar on it and I asked for just plain sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, after we left, I realized the sweet potato fries had sugar added on it. They gave us a sweet sauce with the sweet potato fries. The white potato fries were more crispy compared to the sweet potato fries.

Angus Grill’s new location is like a time-travel experience for your taste buds – their burgers are so good, you’ll forget you even ordered them! Some folks claim the food took ages to arrive, but I’m pretty sure they just got caught up in a parallel universe of burger euphoria. I mean, who needs time when you’re savoring a patty masterpiece, right?

Welcome to Monkey Junction! Been anxiously waiting for your opening. Came in tonight for the first time. Will definately return. I got the Bacon Jam Burger. Forgot too take a pic before I took a bite. My husband got the Steak burger.

I have been waiting for the Carolina Beach location. I could not wait for the soft opening to be over, so I called in for a pick-up. I had the sweet onion burger and it lived up, beyond the hype. It was so good, i had a double and could have had a 2nd one. I expected the onion rings to be a little soft since it was a to go order. They stood and were just as crispy. My goal is to have all 25 versions, and it is a goal that will be delicious every step of the way. 10 out of 10 stars. I’m not sure it would have been possible to make that burger taste any better. Just go, it won’t disappoint

Wish I would have taken a picture of the Ribeye Cheesesteak I got from there. Barely any meat on the sandwich and the meat that there was, was cut into chunks when they present shaved ribeye in their photos. Hard to chew through due to the meat being overcooked to where it was dried out. No interested in going back after that meal. Atmosphere was very bland as well.

I’m a 13yr local and we tried this place last night for the first time. We chose to split a burger (hot tip for new places) which we picked from the online menu based on the pictures. When we opened the box at home for a takeout order, I asked my gf if we accidentally ordered a kids burger… the patty of meat was so small!! like the size of a kids burger at the old Hwy 55 that previously occupied this space. It was sooo disappointing, wow what a letdown for the price. I’m not a downtown eatery fan so I’ve not been to the other location, but I’m not impressed with this one at all.

We watched the new location be built up for months and were super excited. When we finally got to go, our food took over an hour to come out. Other tables that came in after us were served before us. I understand staffing stuggles, but maybe don’t open if you don’t have the people just yet. Staff that worked there were very nice, a feel bad for them because I know other tables that had the same issues were getting pretty snippy with them. Food was mid:

The service was very good, but the kitchen must’ve been backed up for a while. It took a long time to be served our food. I’m going to chalk it up to it being a new place. The food was great, though.
