Stopped in and had some time to work so I ordered the fried mushrooms and tea! Both were great and had wonderful service! Watching the boats on the water was so relaxing even while I was working. I will be back!

Wait for food was a bit long, but nothing outrageous. We ate outside during the evening, the view of the lake was nice. Food was good, although husband was upset his medium rare ribeye was well done and potatoes were cold. Fried mushrooms were good. I had the fish and chips which were also good.

Beautiful place to enjoy a meal. Food was good except for the hush puppies. They were the worst I ever had. I had catfish and we had a crab dip, both were good. Beer menu was adequate. Service was good.

Food was great as always, service also. Love sitting outside on the patio, only (small) complaint is the musician had his amp turned up a wee bit. Music in the background is awesome, he was actually pretty good, but I don’t want to have to shout for my dinner companion to be able to hear me. I’ll still go back though, again and again:)

I was attending a rehersal dinner here. A deposit was put down and confirmation of the event happened 2 days prior. When we arrived, the room was not only not ready, it was not cleaned from the previous event. The groomsmen and bridesmaids scrambled to put it together for the wedding couple. They arrranged tables and chairs. Vacuumed the floors and tried to put linen on but they were given dirty used linen. The manager on duty was calling the banquet manager to figure out what to do while this happened. They were drastically understaffed for this party and we considered leaving for our resort that was putting an alternative in place for us. Angelos gave us another area outside next to the lake that was very nice but the wedding party was tasked with setting up the tables and chairs all of which were filthy. The manager got us buckets of sani water and towels and we cleaned everything up. She said they were getting more staff in to take care of us but she ended up being the only server the entire night. Other staff came in and sat in the bar area, did not help her. Things took long which is to be expected. The food was decent. The teamwork was sad. The owner just looked on and did not offer help. Made himself a cocktail and watched the manager drown. The manager did her best. She only has worked their for 3 weeks. She might want to consider looking for a different place that actually functions properly.

First time at Angelo’s and it was amazing. The food was tasty and drinks were coming just in time. Brenna was our server, she was outstanding, took really good care of us, it’s was a perfect end of day after canoeing for a couple of hours.

We were there on a Friday evening, around 7:30, so we knew it would be busy. The hostess seemed dazed and confused and said it would be a 20-minute wait. About 10 minutes later, she said we could sit anywhere inside! They seemed to have a staffing problem, which we are used to seeing these days. Atmosphere: For a restaurant on the water, the exterior seating seems to be fine, but the interior needs some refreshing. Service: Our server was pleasant and efficient even though she seemed to be handling a lot of tables. Kudos to her! Food: My wife chose the shrimp scampi special and was disappointed with it. The shrimp were large and prepared well, but the pasta were large penne noodles, so they kind of overwhelmed the whole dish. The least pleasing was the sauce. It was greenish and not as buttery/garlic as one would expect. The good news was my fish tacos. Even though the menu says the fish is fried, our server asked me if I wanted it fried or grilled. I chose grilled, and they were delicious!
