Been coming here since opening. Always good food & wine. Love the rustic decor, feels like a movie scene with De Niro in Casino. The grilled branzino is superb. Charred octopus fresh with flavorful red sauce. Let’s not forget the linguine with white clam sauce, excellent. Paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Seafood night divine.

The place is nice, with its pleasant ambiance and atmosphere. However, we were disappointed with the food quality. I ordered the lasagna, and my wife ordered the linguine, but unfortunately, neither of us liked our dishes. The taste and flavor were not up to our expectations, which left us feeling dissatisfied with our meal. It’s a shame that such a lovely place did not deliver on the culinary aspect of the experience.

The Borgata has many restaurants choices when you stay there and sometimes it’s downright hard to choose. From Japanese food, fine steaks, gourmet burgers, or Italian food, you really can’t go wrong in any of the places. This review is for Angeline’s, one of our favorites.

The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! This was my first time here. You can tell the pasta is homemade, which makes a world of difference in flavor. The Sunday meatsauce was made with shredded, mouthwatering beef, instead of your normal ground beef. Not expensive at all for upscale dining. Would highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Angeline although we have heard about it for several months before our visit. Aside from having to wait to be seated for our reserved table, everything else was spot on. The wait staff was exceptional and the food was above the expectations we had for a casino restaurant. We, a party of four, are Italian Americans and tend to be overly critical of any Italian food that our mothers didn’t prepare. The meals here were just terrific and plentiful. Good menu with something for everyone and an extensive wine list albeit they only had one rose. Lasagna was some of the best particularly if you like a lot of meat in the dish. Overall it was a fine dining experience. Probably not for kids snd the prices were a little out of line but the overall experience was very good. We give it four and one half clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

Fresh Burrata and tomatoes was delicious, as were the cocktails and dessert. Special for the night was a cheese ravioli with cherry tomatoes super good, would pass on the eggplant parmesan though.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We had reservations for a Saturday night for a party of four. I recommend making a reservation because this restaurant gets crowded. The food menu is simple and right to the point. Their drink menu is awesome. I was impressed with their scotch and whiskey selection. We ordered a fifteen year old(Dalwhinnie) glass of scotch and it was very good. For appetizers we ordered the baked clams, spicy calamari, and the cold antipasto salad. For the main courses we ordered the filet mignon ( just melted in my mouth lol)eggplant parmigiana, and the special which was a halibut baked in bread crumbs with tomato’s and sauce. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, the food had great flavor. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing, and very clean and well maintained. Our server was very friendly and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back.

UPDATED: The feedback below is from 4 years ago when Angeline had just opened. We finally made it back tonight for a birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the seating….everything. I can’t say enough good things. I even tried the meatballs again and they were terrific. Complex flavors, great texture, perfect size. Also tried the polenta. It was to die for!! One of the best I have ever had. The tortellini with sweet corn was very unusual and relatively light. Many great desserts but please try the pistachio ice cream. I could have eaten a gallon of that!!

I was excited to experience one of celebrity chef Michael Simons restaurants and had the chance last nite to dine at Angelines. Server was great but the food was very hit or Miss. The minestrone and arancini were delicious as was the side order of spaghetti marinara at a great price. Here’s where it went wrong. The meatballs were grainy with no juiciness and tasted terrible. The problem was we also ordered the lasagna which they used the same meatballs for. Also terrible and inedible. They comped the meatballs but we never mentioned the lasagna. At that point we cut our losses. If you go here I do not recommend those dishes. Stick with the minestrone and have a glass of wine and be on your way

The only way to describe our experience is one of total disappointment. Food was served cold, definitely was not freshly prepared, service was lacking and the prices did not reflect the quality of the food. Probably the worst “baked clams” we ever had, a sour caesar salad, ice cold grilled shrimp (with no grill marks?)slimy cold eggplant etc. I can’t imagine Chef Symon has any connection to this restaurant in anything but name only, if he does then he needs to pay a visit and quick.
