Happened upon this restaurant while visiting Philadelphia, and had the best Italian food in my life. Lisa, Rich, and Michele were warm, inviting and prepared the food to perfection. You can’t go wrong with the dessert options either. When in Philly again, this will be a must have meal.

The food, the service, the menu, was simply outstanding. Very accommodating as well. I parked on the corner and the owner watche our car so it wouldn’t get towed. The homemade pasta was so light and flavorful. Best veal chop in the city. If you have not tried it, do so asap.

Felt like a hidden gem! The pomodoro sauce was incredible and the tiramisu was delicious! BYOB and cash or Venmo only, but it’s worth it for an intimate setting with good food!

Absolutely awful food. Overpriced. They say the dessert is homemade and it’s not. Hair in my food. Don’t waste your money you’ll be sorry

Not sure how anyone rated this place more than a one star. Staff is friendly, that’s about the only good thing. Clearly they were drunk. The vealchop was just breaded and fried with a handful of arugula plopped on top. Awful. Tuna Carpaccio was way overpriced for the amount you get, salmon was below average. Oh, and the desserts are frozen not homemade. Also they charge 10 bucks for a sliver of cake and don’t tell you the price or give you a dessert menu. Also they don’t tell you it’s cash only until you get the check. Over 150 dollars for awful food. Don’t waste your money, go to cucina-maria, 100× better than this place and everything in homemade, including the tiramisu. I really don’t like to give reviews like this but I’m a very honest person and this place is absolute garbage.

This place is a real hidden gem. Everything was delicious and you could tell was made from scratch. The Caesar salad in particular was one of the best I’ve ever had out… I know it’s just a salad but I’m very picky about my Caesars! I have my own homemade recipe passed down to me from my grandfather and so I’m usually disappointed by most restaurants’ interpretation of Caesar dressing, but Angelina’s would definitely impress my grandfather!

The place is a delightful time warp. Billy Joel and The Godfather soundtrack played through our dinner. Reservations can only be made via telephone; unfortunately google does not list correct number (it can be found on facebook).
