I only tried the hot chocolate and croissant. The hot chocolate wasn’t overly sweet or thick as I thought it would be. Both were delicious. My friend tried the teatime and liked it. If you’re looking for a cafe for some pictures, this is a nice place for that since the inside is decorated nicely. The staff here were also really friendly. Overall, it’s definitely a bit overpriced for what you get but i would definitely recommend it!

The best hot chocolate in town!!! It was thick and right amount of sweet. We ordered the breakfast set and it came with the orange juice, croissants, jam, pastry, macaroons and hot chocolate. The orange juice was so fresh and refreshing. The pastry was average for me and only a few macaroons were good. The croissants were really good and flaky. Must visit for the hot chocolate. Literally the best in NYC.

My partner and I went to Angelina for the first time today for a mid-afternoon Sunday meal. We ordered the 3 course brunch, and it was more than we could eat! But we especially like the pastries and the chocolate crèpe. I will certainly be returning for the delicious hot chocolate in the future. The service was speedy and attentive as well.

20 years ago we had the best hot chocolate in all of France on a cold October day. And we’ve dreamed of going back. 20 years later and two kids, we haven’t sadly. But the next best thing opened in NYC just about 3-4 years ago. And I stop each and every time I’m near the city. I will go out of my way. Circle around Bryant Park for parking.

I fell in love with this place when I visited for a coffee. Elegant, with very polite and prompt staff. The decor is beautiful and the hot chocolate is insanely good, potentially even drinkable chocolate sauce if you ask me. It’s a high end place, with comfortable seats, and it’s both roomy and decadent. I’m glad I dressed up that day, it was truly a classy and beautiful experience.

Went for the tea service as part of girl’s weekend with my daughter. Adorable atmosphere with large murals on the walls and gorgeous pastry. They don’t take reservations but we had no issue at 2 pm on Sunday. Around $42/each which is pretty low compared to other services but these portions were fairly small. Presentation was beautiful on everything we saw come out of the kitchen – menu included breakfast, brunch, lunch and cocktails. Nice spot if you’re around Bryant Park.

This is a restaurant near the Bryant Park on Midtown Manhattan, close to orange line of the MTA subway. The manager is nice and he sees me curious and welcomes me to look around though I have take away order.

Bought the famous dessert at $12. It was quite disappointing. It was made at 9am, but still sold at 6pm. Besides sweet and good looking, the texture and taste was very mundane. Seems like some sugar crumbles at the bottom, then large portion of cream, on top was spaghetti like chestnut paste. There are so many better places selling good pastry and desserts.
