I had the skillet scramble, and my daughter had the beet burger. They were both excellent. Service is order at counter and food delivered to table, take your garbage and plate to service station. The servers are friendly and responsive to the customers. Highly recommended, I’m not a vegan, but this is good food.

This place really made my day. They were so friendly and I like the way the kitchen is in view and they work so fast! The food was amazing – I’m from buffalo and those were the best vegan buffalo bites I’ve had yet. The donuts were also incredible, I cannot wait to go back!

Very yummy! This is personal taste, but I do think they put too much black pepper on several of their dishes in my experience. I don’t like black pepper (and I am slightly allergic), but I force myself to eat it when the rest of the dish is good. Which it was! Pictured is the Tofu Benedict. I really enjoyed the biscuit and the sauce w/ the coconut.

We discovered this cute place when our lake cruise was cancelled due to rain, and loved the doughnuts and coffee so much that we left Buffalo a half hour early the following week (to try the cruise again) just to get the coffee and doughnuts. Best vegan doughnuts we’ve ever had, and honestly, you could put them against regular doughnuts and win. They don’t appear to have restrooms, and the restrooms in the building were locked, and no signage to indicate restrooms or to request keys, so that was the only wrinkle. Service was super fast and friendly!

We really liked this place. It’s solid, creative, and fun. We had a very good breakfast that was completely plant based, rich in variety, tasty, and very filling. The donuts were also standout — not too sweet and very good. Finally, we really appreciated the way the tofu was seasoned and used. Excellent job to Angelheart’s. We’ll be back.

Vegan heaven in upstate NY! I visited today from Cortland and it was worth the 30 min drive. Had a vegan breakfast platter and donut that blew my mind! Ambience is cool and wait staff are friendly. Just go, and thank yourself later.

I’m so glad Angelhearts has been open for takeout during a time when it’s so important to keep everyone safe. Their food is delicious, and they’re so careful about packing it up so it’ll be just as tasty when we get it home as it would be if we were able to dine in right now.

Ithaca went through some lean years for vegans after ABC Cafe closed, but Angelhearts Diner has set everything right in the world once again, while raising the bar for quality vegan meals to unprecedented levels. The restaurant itself is simply beautiful. It’s super clean with a classic 1950s-style decor, and everything is brand new since they just opened in late 2019. The food is off the charts, and I’d go so far to say that their breakfast offerings outdo anything served in Manhattan. I had the breakfast burrito and a couple biscuits with jam, with a bottomless cup of excellent coffee. Man oh man! Everything was so delicious and the sausage in the breakfast burrito and on the full plate was about the most delicious vegan meat I’ve ever eaten. My non-vegetarian dining companion was equally impressed by the food.
