Always an amazing experience!! Best calamari anywhere and Chef Michael and Denise are such a great team and the whole staff is one family!! Eggplant, seafood new Orleans, filet with lump crab, chicken parm, veal Parmigiano were all stellar!!! Thanks for a great birthday dinner!! Oh yeah, DONT SKIP DESSERTS…Lemoncello marscapone cake, cannoli, raspberry/choc/caramel cheesecake, and profiteroles are fantastic too!! Shocker!!

I came here based on the good reviews for food, but clearly should have paid more attention to the reviews I saw that mentioned bad service. My friend and I split an appetizer and salad. We were about 2/3 of the way through our entree when my friend found a small, round, sharp, rusty piece of metal in her food. I pulled it out and waited until our server came back to our table. I showed it to her, explained, asked her to let the chef know, and told her we were done eating. When she returned several minutes later, she explained that the chef didn’t believe me, he said the kitchen had nothing to do with it, and that he thought I was lying. Now, I understand that things happen, sometimes things make it into packaging that shouldn’t be there and then it accidentally gets put into food. If they had merely apologized and offered to remove that item from my bill, I would have been just fine and wouldn’t be here leaving this review. However, once the chef so rudely and inaccurately accused me of lying, I told the server I would not be paying for the entree. I watched as the chef clearly ranted and raved in the kitchen, glaring at me, throwing his hands around, and raising his voice to his staff. The server was wonderful and tried several times to reason with the chef and come up with a solution. I asked very politely and respectfully to speak with the chef or the other owner (his wife) who was also standing around in the kitchen. They both refused to speak with me. Truly says a lot about the chef when he can’t man up enough to even speak to a customer when there’s an issue. He finally agreed to take off 50% of the entree and I let it drop because of how hard the server was trying. It doesn’t matter if the food is the most amazing food around, I refuse to spend money in a business that treats their own staff that way, let alone customers.

An excellent Italian restaurant. Everything we had was tasty and perfectly cooked. For me personally, I think there was too much sauce for the amount of pasta and I did not care for all that parsley on top. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!

This Italian restaurant is amazing. My “ seafood scampi” was so yummy! The scallops and shrimps where so fresh and cooked perfectly. Definitely a must try while in Virginia. The service is also great!

This was a first dinner here. Came in about 5:15, which was a good idea because they fill up fast! Although they got very busy, our server Allie was attentive to everything we needed. The food was incredible, especially the wild mushroom ravioli and the canoli! We will definitely be back.

Have been to a couple of Italian restaurants in the town, but this is the only place where they serve marinara sauce as a mushroom sauce. I have ordered penne pasta in mushroom sauce but i received it in tomato sauce. When asked manager for the reason, she said “It’s mushroom sauce wrapped in tomato sauce” ♂️. The pasta is also semi cooked.They even charged for the full dish. Totally disappointing.

Has nice fine dining atmosphere. That doesnt really matter unless you want to look snazzy. The chef made both our meals perfectly. I had filet mignon, crab, and shrimp on a bed of spinach with a nice cream style sauce. The other was a nice shrimp scampi. Mozzarella sticks looked homemade sliced and breaded. The specials can be kinda pricey so just be away on a meal that doesnt show a price. I ended up having to spend 95$ after tip.
