This Thai restaurant is over the top! No kidding. Our server was so kind and gracious. She helped explain the menu options, and recommendations were on the spot. The Thai food here is truly top quality, presented beautify. The flavor was an absolute treat. And the Thai Tea, crazy good! This is a must do, we are returning soon and I’m sure you won’t regret trying it as well.

Andaman Thai in Walnut Creek is an upscale Thai place that I would take my friends and family for a premium experience. The ambiance is fresh, roomy and modern with some really nice touches to the show pieces. Their seating has segregation that makes you feel cozy and comfortable. Staff service and food is pretty amazing for the money you spend! Serving proportions are adequate. Thai Tea is a MUST drink!!!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Walnut Creek is Andaman Thai. Their food is always fresh and delicious, and they have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Some of their most popular dishes include pad Thai, green curry, and tom yum soup. They also have vegetarian and gluten-free options available. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is always friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for authentic and tasty Thai food in Walnut Creek, Andaman Thai is definitely worth a visit.

One of the best newest establishment in WC . Chicken Satey & pineapple rice were super delicious .The Thai tea was sweet but would have been great if it had some Boba in it. All dishes were great except the fire pork belly which had a very strong pepper taste at the end which ruined the taste & had to return it just after tasting it .To the end got the marinated grilled pork which was a yum and super fulfilling. Still got charged full for the Fire pork which was little unsatisfying.

Not sure the reason for such a high rating for this place. Compared to San Ramon location this place should get only two stars for the service and food quality. Modern Thai design is the key and that’s what gets the rating.

Beautiful atmosphere and food was great. They have a baseline spiciness level as they don’t ask at the time of ordering but their condiments caddy was perfect. Would come again!

Tried their most expensive dish on the menu (seafood in a coconut). Unfortunately, it was very average – too many onions for me, the sauce wasn’t smooth (you could taste some ingredients more than others) and it was clumpy. Tried spring rolls and pad thai – was 3.5 or 4 out of 5. Good but nothing special. Interior looked very nice.

A generous 4 stars. I had pretty high expectations given the current 4.9 rating, at the time of this review. As Vanda Thai, just down the street, is under new management, and has gone downhill, we’ve been looking for a top-notch Thai restaurant and I’ve been somewhat disappointed with Andaman. First the good. Staff is very friendly and restaurant looks nice. But, I have not been impressed with the food, as it’s been mediocre. The stir-fry noodle dishes lacked that wok noodle char flavor, something you’d expect in a good Thai restaurant, and something you’d totally expect on the street in Bangkok. As a result, it lacked that depth. Their Pad Thai and basil chicken lacked flavor. I haven’t tried their curries, so maybe they excel there. It also doesn’t appear they cut their own fresh noodle, but I may be wrong. Overall, food is big meh like many of the Thai restaurants in Walnut Creek, but their service is great.

For someone who lived in Thailand for 2 years. This is the best Thai food I’ve had in the east bay. Very fresh and authentic. Not as sweet and Americanized as most of the Thai places around. Walnut Creek finally has an authentic Thai restaurant. Highly recommend the crispy pork!
